We enjoyed the open fires and the seating around it. The bedrooms rooms were amazing, loved the colours felt really luxurious and comfortable. There was a lovely selection of seating areas, enticing you to relax and take time out. Loved it all.
I did not like anything. My only negative was my daughter requires gluten free meal options and unfortunately it was more trouble than it should have felt. Which sadly made it not a relaxing meal experience. The matrix centrally offered an insight into what was available however to choose from a matrix does not hold the same sense of meal anticipation as it would from a menu. Which was a shame as your food was very lovely.

Welcomed by lovely staff on arrival although it wasn't immediately clear where the reception was, no signage. It had moved since our last stay.
Very comfortable beds. Really nice spacious well equipped rooms. Good quality kettle and hairdryer.
Restaurant staff equally friendly and helpful.
Lots of choice for breakfast on the buffet and separate hot menu. Delicious fresh produce.
Nice choice for evening meals in restaurant or bar. We were there at Burns night and enjoyed their supper offering.
Not ideal for disabled travellers. So many stairs. No problem for us but Mum has limited mobility. We did mention this on booking and they accommodated us close together as requested.
We requested a shower stool for her and it was provided but it would have been nice for it to have been offered on arrival since we had mentioned the mobility issues upon booking.

Everything, the staff were brilliant from the minute we walked in the door and the hotel is beautifully decorated, perfect for a weekend getaway.

An absolutely beautiful property five minutes walk from the main street and ten minutes from the train station, but it feels so private and secluded. The building itself is absolutely beautiful and the rooms very comfortable with luxurious bathrooms. The staff were very friendly and we loved sitting in front of the fireplace in the evenings.

Honestly, one of the nicest experiences I’ve had in a hotel. They just got the ambience and the atmosphere absolutely spot-on. The staff were so friendly and professional and relaxed and welcoming and I was so impressed with the restaurant. I can’t wait to come back.

A beautiful hotel with excellent staff providing a very friendly and efficient service. Loved the modern bathroom and cleanliness. Lots of nice extra touches. Lovely breakfast with plenty choice and fine dining in the evening. A nice quiet location although possibly not suitable for everyone due to the steep hill.
Only negative was the walk back to the hotel at night. It could benefit from better lighting along the driveway.

Wonderful bedroom and loved the style.
The dining room was chilly …heating needs to be turned up. Scrambled egg at breakfast wasn’t great …the rest of the breakfast was great.

We booked this for a 'mini-moon' - as the wife called it [which just means we have two honeymoons, I have come to find out!]. Our stay at Pine Trees was beyond expectations. The building itself is lovelier from the outside than the pictures give it justice for, and the grounds are also pretty and very well maintained - you feel like you're in the middle of woodland. The interior is fab throughout and has a lovely feel to it. Right from the off we were treated with great care and attention from the team. Lots of walking recommendations, as well as restaurants. Our room - the suite - was incredible; the best we have ever stayed in. Comfort to the max! We ended up eating at the restaurant 3 x times out of 4 nights. Food was excellent and the dining area is lovely. Breakfast was great. I ended up having a full fry every day - yes, that is haggis, tattie scones, the lot! Can't recommend it enough. We have agreed to go back for our 1st anniversary, and probably many more times after that.
Honestly, nothing to add here. It really was a very special trip for us. Pitlochry is a beautiful area, with so much to do. I would really recommend visiting in Autumn, the colours of the trees and being so close to nature is just what you need. Oh - if you do Ben Vrackie, just know that it is a bit of a hike to the top! We did not expect it, but managed it in the end!

A beautiful location. The staff were amazing. They were extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Amazing little touches which were wonderful. The quality of rooms. Food and toiletries were excellent. There were little free treats available at all times. They ran us down to the train station when we checked out. Doggies are very welcome. Coats and wellies were available to use. Beautiful wood burned made it so homely. Thank you 1000 %. We will definitely return and for longer next time. Thank you again Debbie and Elizabeth xxxxx
We loved everything.
No improvement needed.

Room was lovely. Such a comfortable bed. Shower and bathroom excellent. Staff were lovely. Bronte at reception was a brilliant host, bar staff and waitresses were lovely and chatty and the chap I assume was the handyman (blue overalls and long beard) was so helpful in setting us up with finding the car park for a lovely hilltop walk. We will keep an eye out for deals as we would love to return one day.
Food portions were not generous but the complimentary snacks were a lovely touch. The rooms were quite expensive but beautifully appointed.

It was generally very high quality with lots of nice little touches. Staff were very warm and friendly. All the fixtures and fittings were to a high standard. We loved our room. We would highly recommend the hotel to friends and family. It's a very comfortable, welcoming and attractive place to spend a few nights.
They seemed a bit understaffed at breakfast which meant the service was unpredictable. The buffet wasn't replenished promptly enough, the cafetière coffee was very weak and the toast very underdone.

Great first impression. Check in lady was brilliant
Upgraded to the Coach House which was exceptional. Bedroom, walk in closet, bathroom and sitting room.
The Coach house is advertised as dog friendly. As a non dog owner no matter how hard they try to clean and get rid of the dog smell it’s still there
Be aware walking up and down to the main street in Pitlochry is quite a steep hill. Especially after a dinner in town and a few drinks 😀

The Pine Trees Hotel is absolutely amazing, we enjoyed our honeymoon in this amazing location surrounded by nature.
The building is an old mansion with history and the interior is warm and beautiful, with many seating areas for guests besides the restaurant and bar. There is also a residents lounge with snacks and milk available to all. The room was big and very comfortable with a very cozy bow window nook to sit in.
The staff were all very pleasant and helpful!
The breakfast was delicious, with a selection of pastries and jams , a buffet, plus a made to order proper meal.
Everything was absolutely exceptional ! There is no doubt we will be returning again!

The overall standard of food was good.
We booked a cosy room, unfortunately there was a leak in the selling and we changed rooms. This second room was very very cosy.
Our bedroom was so full of luxury items there was very little space to walk around or put suitcases in.
The tea and coffee in the room was not to our taste…. Ie when making a cafeteria no where to put the dregs…
Lovely to have fresh milk but it went stale overnight.
Poor service in the restaurant and bar when serving food.
Food orders taken and items missed off at breakfast.

Beautiful quiet property. Classy elegant decoration, room was very well furnished with amenities. Love the residents’ lounge with fruits and sweets all day long. Shows the generosity and care of those running this place. Will definitely recommend and come back.
Nothing! The staff were all warm and friendly. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.

Very very beautifully curated hotel with very friendly staff. Loved the fact that you had personal touches everywhere and that you could also help yourself to snacks and drinks. Perfect location for a quick walk into town as well. Rooms are also very comfortable. Breakfast the next day was very delicious and it was nice to have a combination of a 'mini buffet' with yoghurt and fruits, while still having the possibility to order from a hot menu. We would have loved to stay longer.
We should have booked more than one night ;)

Very nicely decorated and comfortable hotel
The little extras made a huge difference. Free drink on arrival, the 24 hour snack bar on the 1st floor landing was genius, and even the bag of travel sweets on departure
The breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hotel
Room was slightly small and compact, but very comfortable bed
