The designer aesthetic of Pine Trees is fabulous. All the attention to detail, ornaments and quirky decor were of an excellent standard.
The quality of bedding & also the luxury toiletries were a nice touch.
The food was generally good, we dined in the lounge as well as the dining room, neither were a disappointment. The pantry is a great idea.
The staff are lovely and you can tell they have passion to work there.
We had a lovely wander around the gardens and there’s plenty of parking. Very close to the centre of Pitlochry so the location is excellent.
The entrance - there’s an uneven depression in the drive, right as you enter/exit. This caught on our car when we were leaving and triggered an emergency alert.
Continental breakfast was underwhelming. We had to ask for butter/jam etc, every day - and when it arrived the butter was solid. No offer of toast on 2 days. Only received cheese/ham on last morning and it was straight out of the fridge.
Cooked breakfast was a little disappointing. Deep fried potato scone was inedible and no black pudding!
