Excellent stay on Isle of Lewis

This was a beautiful property on the Isle of Lewis only 8 miles from the ferry port. The owners thought of everything and the room and amenities were second to none. The breakfast and drinks were delicious and they even had laundry facilities for our use which was very helpful as we were on a long trip. I highly recommend!!

Pristine house within a few blocks walk of the center of Pitlochry. If you’re visiting this area, I cannot recommend it more highly.

Lovely house for a short stsy

Lovely house. Spotlessly clean. Well equipped kitchen, nice extras in the bathroom. Comfy beds. Plenty storage space in bedrooms.

Only 1 bathroom meant a bit of a queue with 5 of us but it was a very lovely bathroom and we weren't in a great hurry. As previously mentioned it is an uphill walk from the main street but doable.

Excellent holiday home

The house is immaculate and all as presented in the photos. Communication from Agnes and Kate was great, we didn't have any problems checking in or during our stay. The appliances are all high end (Neff oven) and kitchen very well equipped. Rooms extremely comfortable with thoughtful touches such as extra blankets, several hairdryers and hot water bottles. We appreciated the wine on arrival! Lots of room for our group. Thank you and hope to return.

Nothing. The steep hill has been mentioned but Pitlochry is hilly either side of the main road, and you get nice views and peace and quiet from the garden.

Expected Luxury and did not get it.

We brought our own breakfast. The bedrooms were lovely, comfortable beds and plenty of room.

Instructions for kitchen equipment not clear. Only one bathroom for up to six people does not work. There is no where to put the towels in the bathroom or the bedrooms. I have used accommodation, all prices, but never been asked to strip the beds and leave for the cleaners!

High Standard accommodation

The location of the property was in easy walking distance of the cafes pubs restaurants and shops. The garden and surroundings were very well maintained and finished to the highest standards. From the first moment you enter you just feel at home, lovely and clean and fresh smelling with lots of natural light. The property was very well appointed with everything you could possibly need.

I genuinely can't think of anything that didn't meet or exceed my expectations.

This is such a gorgeous little find, absolutely stunning! So clean and has everything you’ll need.

Nothing, everything was there. Only maybe tiny quibble would be parking, we had three cars and did park two on the drive and one blocking us in but was wary as to not upset any local neighbours.

4 night stay for 4 friends

Location is great. Easy to find and very quiet. House is very comfortably furnished. Host is very responsive. Kitchen is fully equipped.

There is only one bathroom in the house that can cause a bit of a backup. There are no facial tissues stocked in the house, so bring your own. Rooms could be improved by luggage racks for suitcases and additional counter space in the bathroom.

Wonderful 3 bedroom bungalow. Very clean with high spec finishings. Close to Pitlochry high St. Noce and quiet.

A further toilet room would have been a slight benefit if you have 6 people staying.

Fantastic stay at a fantastic house in a brilliant location

Meeting friends for our annual golf weekend, we decided to book Heather House instead of our normal hotel. Location was brilliant, walking distance to both town and golf club. The house itself is immaculate, extremely well maintained with all mod cons. The little gift of fudge, wine and coffee was a really well appreciated little touch

After a little initial confusion over the 3rd parking spot being for the other house, which was quickly and easily resolved, there is nothing negative to say about our stay.

Our family loved our 3-night stay. Beautiful house, great location, clean fresh decor, spacious rooms, super comfy beds and fab toiletries, everything we needed for our stay. Pitlochry itself is lovely & plenty of family-friendly walks & food options in the local area. We visited Faskally wood, Pitlochry town & dam, Killiekrankie, walk at Garry Bridge & fabulous Falls of Bruar.

Incredible house

Absolutely everything, the house was utterly stunning, immaculate, beautiful garden and views, comfortable beds, the bathroom was a thing of beauty! every ammenity we needed. There was nothing bad about this house at all. Owners clearly have paid attention to detail and luxury. They always answered questions immediately. It was a very short break but hopefully back for longer next time!

it was a perfect place & I would recommend it to anyone. everything was of the highest quality & the gifts, bottle of wine, biscuits, fudge were all delicious.
