The property was in a wonderful location and very centralised. Lovely living area and comfortable living /kitchen. The owners also let us extend our check out on the final day which was very helpful and appreciated.

Some of the towels for guests were very damp and smelled damp and were not nice to use. The carpet on the stairs was unsafe as it was lifting from the edges and was a trip hazard and on arrival there wasn’t any milk for tea /coffee which I know is an extra but when you’ve been travelling all day it’s a welcome gesture that would be really appreciated.

A good central location.

The location was ideal. We also liked the space of the rooms. It was all decent and the main living room area was good.

Only a few minor things. One of the beds was uncomfortable, but there was a spare. Anther problem was the boiler wasn't on so there was no hot water in one of the bathrooms or the kitchen. This was easily rectified. Finally, the towels provided were small, but they were decent quality.

Larger/more towels. Not enough hand soap in the bathroom and the soap in our room felt like it had been watered down.

Disappointing

The location was very good, central to main areas. Response from host was quick when we had issues.

Cleanliness was sub standard, floors could have been cleaner as there were visible marks when we entered, some broken kitchen items, bathroom plugs were slow drain, indicating they have not been cleaned, windows dirty, could have been more towels provided as it was only 1 per person, it should always be 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per person. The property is over priced for the standard provided.

Good quiet location but be prepared to rough it a bit.

Excellent location, and had the perfect room configuration for us all. Also, the bathrooms were of a good standard and the bedrooms were a decent size.

Awful uncomfortable mattresses on beds, inferior bedding & ridiculously small towels to use for showers. Only 5 wine glasses when it sleeps 8 people, and there was a dirty tray left in the oven where it looked like the previous occupants had had a very cheesy pizza, and it’s a shame that the cleaner didn’t spot this!

Great location but slightly disappointed

Location brilliant in the middle of town with easy access and spacious rooms. Nice and warm - nicely heated for a January stay. Responsible and responsive agents.

Quality of cleaning left a lot to be desired. Lack of towels and of very poor quality - thin with bleach stains. Lack of glasses for a group of 6. Overall small issues which could easily be put right and this would be an amazing place.

All in all an enjoyable weekend staying in stylish and comfortable lodgings.

Spacious and generally clean. Excellent lounge/dining/kitchen area and bedrooms more than adequate. Beds comfortable. The location is excellent with all facilities and shops close by. We were amazed by the lack of traffic in Glasgow! All in all a great experience in a city full of university buildings and amazing museums, parks etc. Friendly people everywhere and food choices great, plentiful and always tasty.

We had a problem with the front door being open when we returned after a few hours away. Having phoned Steph, she was very concerned and said that both keys need to be used when leaving the property as the door has a tendency to blow open. Would recommend that this is pointed out to all future guests as we thought we had shut it firmly and indeed tested it to check it was shut.

A beautiful property in a great location to explore Glasgow.

This is a beautiful property in an excellent location for visit to Glasgow. Its within walking distance of shops, pubs and restaurants and public transport is also easily accessible and good value.

The only issue with the whole house is that the beds, when used as singles, are quite narrow. We had no problem, but the area around the property is quite hilly and could cause difficulty for anyone with mobility issues.

Comfortable and Enjoyable Stay

Very comfortable accommodation with plenty of bathrooms. Large sitting room well suited to a group of old friends getting together to sit and chat and eat. Great location. Close to a well stocked supermarket within a few minutes walk, which is handy when cooking meals. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Very easy to communicate with the owner prior to the stay and during.

Price was a bit higher for the same property than during other weekends, which was puzzling.

Great place to stay in central Glasgow for 8 people

Love the location, very close to Glasgow School of Art, close to Sauciehall Street, 30 minutes walk from our favourite pub - the Oran Mor. Easy self check in. House is great , with 4 rooms which can be twin rooms or king size beds, nice big room for sitting / cooking / relaxing . Well equipped , we cooked in the house for 2 nights and went out 1 night to the Shish Mahal ( home to Ali's original chicken tikka masalla, 30 mins walk away ) . Parking just around the corner. Very communicative and helpful hosts.😊

Absolutely brilliant place to explore Glasgow.

The Renfew was absolutely ideal as a base for exploring Glasgow for a group of 8 ladies. Stunning, spacious flat and the location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the city but set back from the main street so that it was very quiet. Very well equipped with everything you could hope for and great communication from Nina and Steph throughout.

No complaints. One small mixup of over towels which was sorted out straight away.

Prima uitvalsbasis in Glasgow

De locatie is top, op loopafatand van het centrum. Ruime kamers en voldoende sanitair. Keuken is ook compleet. Sleutelkastje is ook heel handig.

Het is een oud pand, en ventileert daardoor slecht. Om de ramen in de woonkamer open te kunnen zetten hebben we er een snijplank tussen gezet. De bedden zijn wat doorgezakt. Ook was er geen mogelijkheid om bagage vroeger te brengen en konden we ook niet laten staan tot we naar het vliegveld moesten.

Lieu convivial et lumineux. Excellente situation.

Très bien situé et disposition des lieux sympa: beau sejour- cuisine lumineux assez vaste pour nous 7. Ensemble confortable avec 4 chambres et 3 sdb.

La machine à café ne fonctionnait pas et nous avons eu du mal à démarrer une des douches faute de modes d’emploi. Dommage qu’il n’y avait pas une toilette séparée.
