Disappointing & Cleanliness is a problem
The location and mattresses' where okay. We had an initial problem with the key at the property as it was bent and wouldn't unlock the door properly, it was replaced quickly.
Unfortunately what really let our stay down was the cleanliness of this property. We walked in to a curtain just placed over the windows which had white marks all down them and the settee in the picture was so marked & stained we didn't want to sit on it. The walls had yellow stains / liquids running down them. We then went into the bedrooms and some of the bedding on the beds where extremely dirty and shouldn't have been used, yellow staining across the quilt case & sheet inside the bed. And what I could only describe as a blood staining on the carpet. The worktops, table & chest of drawers all had what I could only describe as cigarette burns on them. I went to use the towels provided, one was covered in orange makeup and another had fake eyelashes stuck in them, so was reluctant to use. I have raised this cleanliness issue with the provider & have the pictures also, unfortunately I got no reply from the host when I raised my concerns. There was also a lack of basic amenities like tea towels, mirrors. I think if this property was properly looked after it would be okay, but it's like it's been forgotten about, so sadly we didn't have a very positive stay. It would be nice to be refunded for the cleaning charge of the stay as we felt it hadn't even been touched before we arrived.

Very dirty house with rats in the garden. DO NOT BOOK when I complained to the host I was ignored!

Very clean and comfortable house , everything was as it should . And I can tell I felt like home!
