Good location - tired facilities, small bathrooms and collapsed main mattress

Bathrooms were small, both shower enclosures were very small and the main bathroom shower-tray had partially collapsed and was showing signs of cracking. The main double bed mattress was beyond its useful Life and had collapsed in the middle. It Would have been better to inform me of the £200 security deposit before I booked (non refundable) and the requirement to empty all bins is also needed time of booking. The instructions on where to place the bins also didn’t match to what was actually there, no outside bins were visible.

Beautiful townhouse, beautiful location, extremely comfortable

Only criticism we have is that when taking a shower in the upstairs bathroom, we had to be very careful when exiting the shower as the floor became extremely wet and slippy and we had to use towels on the floor (but they were instantly saturated)

The shower was the only thing that was satisfactory

There where some facilities and amenities that were on their webpage but not available at the property. The kitchen bin didn’t have a lid to it so odours could seep out. The grill tray in the oven was filthy. There was a dirty mop left in the bucket, the property said that it featured a fully equipped kitchen, but there were some items missing. The kettle had a sharp jagged piece of plastic sticking out. The property can house six people, but there were only five mugs and four wine glasses. Nothing is provided to help clean the kitchen and wipe services. The description also says guest can enjoy a private garden. Yet the garden was so overgrown you couldn’t get to it. On the list for room amenities it says there is a drying rack for clothing. There wasn’t one and we had to wait in the next day for the Cleaner to bring us one. All the beds had unbelievably uncomfortable mattresses which felt like they’ve been used for years. The wardrobe in one of the bedrooms is not fixed to the wall and could easily topple over. We feel completely misled by the descriptions for the property on Booking.com

Excellent property close to the centre of the village

Modern property, located in the centre of the village with nearby shops and restaurants

Bluetooth Yale lock was temperamental but a quick solution was given by landlord

extremely enjoyable visit to see family. we would definitely book again , in fact we hope to in the Autumn .

location was a excellent . bedroom space was good . two bathrooms and toilets which is good with 3 bedrooms . would definitely book this property again . loved the app to access the property lock , I am considering installing one at home . very clever .

it’s not a didnt like , more constructive feed back . A little care pack would have been a bonus :- washing up liquid or 1 or two dishwasher tablets would have enabled us to pop the dishwasher on before leaving/checking out .
