Ladybird Cottage

Was nice and easy to find and has all amenities there for us to use when arrived and the welcome basket upon arrival was just the perfect touch! The beds were so comfy too!

Great location, very spacious, bed was very comfy.

The property was lovely. amazing location just felt it needed a little update on certain areas Plug for the kitchen sink or bowl and it was difficult to wash up but there was a dishwasher which we never used I would suggest a new mat in hall way to clean your feet but everythink else was amazing xx

We was disappointed with the property. Has soon has we arirrved the code key didnt work. We phoned the office to check number and was given another code. They key lock was stiff and my husband put on some WD40 to loosen up the lock. Took around 30 minutes to unlock key, switch was stiff. Bedroom were clean, shower room was not cleaned properly, hairs in shower. Kitchen area not acceptable, fridge not cleaned, utensil draw was horrific, microwave not been cleaned in weeks, dishwasher absolutely awful, not been used in months and smelled. Oven was ok but had to clean trays when needed. Garden not been maintained for months and was very disappointed has we booked for a garden to sit in and relax in the evening, unable to use. We have booked before and have been happy with our stay but property seems run down and not maintained. We paid for a holiday and expect to have 5 star, unfortunately Ladybird Cottage has been down graded to a 3 star and no longer a 5 star. Was not happy to spent my first evening cleaning for an hour. Alarm also went off next morning at 6am, didnt go off till 30 minutes later once we look at the fire alarm instructions. We found no welcome pack either. Bins were fun and not been emptied for some time. We looked up the areas bin day and placed out the black bin. Where is the welcome pack and the visitor log? Very disorganized. Really disappointed has we have always enjoyed our stay over the year.
