Perfect weekend away for us and friends.

The location of the apartment was perfect for us. Only a 5 minute walk into the centre of Hunstanton and not far from the main road to enable us to driver out to different locations during our stay. It was close to plenty of places to eat and even take away back to the apartment. We had to contact the host for something minor and she was quick to respond and answer our question. I would highly recommend this apartment and we will definitely be booking to stay here again.

There were a couple of areas of improvement. 1. There is a need for an additional curtain on all windows. The current setup makes it almost impossible to close the curtains in such a way as to fully block out the light. It is also extremely difficult to pull the curtains closed due to the height of the curtain rail and both the nets and the curtains are on the same rail. 2. The toilet flush is really tricky and difficult to flush consistently, this means you have to keep adjusting to ensure the cistern refills rather than having a constant dripping of water into the bowl. 3. I would also suggest access to an iron, there may well have been one but we could not find it.

Pet owners be ware - this is not pet friendly if bringing a dog add the hidden costs (£75 per dog and you have to send photos). You could stay in much nicer places and in more comfort with nice extras like No33!!! The property itself was generally ok clean etc, but in the evening there are no curtains so everyone walking past looks straight in, it’s unsettling for a street property one expects window coverings as basic. For the price there are much better options available in Hunstanton!!! If I’d of been informed about the dog charge and seen the list of “don’t’s - I would off cancelled and could of found much more suitable accommodation. For a 2 night stay the total cost was £550!!! This was not a luxury stay. No nice arrival basket as you get in many other places, milk, biscuits, wine. The worst surprise after booking what was advertised as “pet friendly” was to be sent a message from the owner few days beforehand informing that only one dog would be permitted and a charge of £75!! Never have I seen such a high pet change not even in very nice hotels. I asked to bring my two small dogs, I had to send photos and was charged £65 pound each - a whopping £130 that I had no choice but to pay as was informed AFTER the cancellation period. No extra kitchen cloths, kitchen towel, or drying up clothes etc. Mouldy potatoes and food in cupboard. We had a lovely break in Hunstanton but the accommodation experience was very very poor, worst experience I’ve had in a long time.

We love Hunstanton and we loved the apartment !

A beautifully restored Victorian house in a perfect situation, near the town but very quiet. Rose was very helpful . It was home for home for us !

Internet on TV was spasmodic but it didn't spoil our stay.

A perfect, boutique-style bolthole for a stay in Hunstanton

The pictures of this property do not do it justice. It is so light and elegant and beautifully decorated. I stayed with my two sisters and we all agreed that we could quite happily live there forever! So well equipped and comfortable, with a beautiful sun trap patio too (but be aware of the hyper-noise-sensitive neighbour across the fence!) We will definitely return. Thank you Rose!
