Bracondale is a large, family house with six bedrooms and four bathrooms, including two master bedrooms with sea views and en-suite facilities. Situated in a peaceful residential area on Boston Square, opposite the Millennium Sensory Gardens, it is only ¼ mile from the centre of the Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton with its ample range of shops, pubs, restaurants and amusements, yet is less than 165 yards to the sandy beach front. With two living rooms and a large dining room/kitchen, this holiday accommodation spreads over three floors to provide spacious and comfortable accommodation for large groups or families wishing to explore this well-known holiday resort situated on the unspoilt North Norfolk coastline. The sporting facilities in Hunstanton are excellent and cater for young and old alike, including tennis courts, croquet lawns, bowling greens and an 18-hole golf course. Within 500 yards is a Sea Life Centre and The Oasis Sports Centre, which offers both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, two squash courts and winter indoor bowling. Brancaster, 8 miles, is a pretty coastal village with superb sailing, and The Staithe, from which visitors may take boats to the nature reserve on Scolt Head Island. Close by are Holkham Hall and Wells-next-the-Sea, an amiable fishing village with quayside stalls selling freshly caught produce. A short drive away is Sandringham House, the magnificent holiday home of the Royal Family. Norwich and the Broads are both within an hour's drive. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

Lovely house, great location, the rooms were huge, plenty of room for 6 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs. There's lots of things to do and places to visit in the area. We were lucky enough to get wall to wall sunshine, if anything it was too hot at times!

This is our second stay here, and although the house is lovely and perfectly sized for our family of 12, it lacks some TLC. We were disappointed to find that even the basics were missing: no soap in any of the bathrooms, no dishcloths or spare tea towels, and only 3 dishwasher tablets.My 82-year-old mother found the bed so uncomfortable and lumpy that she had to put the duvet on it to try to sleep, and there were no spare sheets or blankets available. Typically, when you rent a property, you expect basic pantry items like salt and pepper, as well as essentials like tin foil and kitchen roll. Unfortunately, this property had none of these, which was disappointing.Despite these issues, we had a pleasant stay, but attention to these details would have made it much more enjoyable.

We had a family get together at Bracondale and we all loved the location, so close to everything, shops, take aways, restaurants and lovely beach walks on the doorstep, and wonderful sunsets to see. The kitchen was so well equipped plenty utensils, and cooking equipment. Beds were comfy, it’s an old quirky house which could do with some tlc in a few areas but we certainly would love to return.

We had plenty of room for the ten of us. The house was situated in a lovely area of Hunstanton. There was so much to do in the area. We loved the fact that we could just walk two minutes down the road to buy a lovely ice cream.

We had a lovely Christmas break in Hunstanton. The house was in a great proximity to the town and beach which catered for all the different generations. The house itself was lovely and clean with a generous kitchen filled with all we could need. The house was lovely and warm despite its spacious size. The two living rooms were very handy and the pool table was a lovely distraction from the TV! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return there one day.

Great property in convenient central location with the benefit of parking. Immediate response from owner who fixed a problem with a running tap within hours of being informed. 10 adults and 1 teenager and 1 Shih tzu very happy with our spacious rooms and facilities. When we arrived the rubbish bin had not been emptied probably because it had been inside the boundary of the property instead of being pushed outside of the gates. Not a problem as it was a large commercial bin with room for a few more bin bags. The owner did offer to arrange an extra collection for us. Family made use of the snooker table and great selection of books. Really appreciated the little extras like the Alexa device in the kitchen and plenty of toilet rolls. The house in general is probably due for a lick of paint, but we were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again. Would recommend.

This one gets the "Wow!" factor for the size of the rooms, the pool table, kitchen equipment and of course the sunset views over the sea from the lounge. It was also great to have both a garden and parking as the extended family came together from various corners of England (and China!)

The property was perfect for what we needed; close to the sea and the town centre, and a short walk to Old Hunstanton and the dunes. A large enough property to house a family gathering, with some lovely original features and well appointed with books, games and a pool table. Would highly recommend.

We were a group of 6 adults and 6 children ages 7 and 3. We had a wonderful holiday. The communication with the owners was great. The house is in an excellent location, across the road from the beach, a walk into town and near enough to places to visit. We visited Sandringham a few times for walks, went to Holkham beach. The house itself was huge! The bedrooms were great, having the two living rooms, we had more than enough space for everyone. The kitchen was all well equipped for our large group. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back here. Thanks so much for a fab holiday!

Perfect location for Hunstanton and getting to other locations such as Thornham and Brancaster. We will definitely be contacting the owners again for further stays at this amazing house.

Three generations came together for a family Christmas gathering. The house was perfect for our group. Having 2 lounges enabled some quiet paper reading while others were playing pool. The 2 floors of bedrooms was ideal as the small children were able to be on one floor. Everyone slept well. We cooked a full Christmas dinner and really appreciated the double oven. There was plenty of hot water, as others say the shower pressure in the en-suite was not as good as the main bathroom but several enjoyed having a bath. The location was ideal we enjoyed a blustery walk along the seafront and were just minutes from the local shops and cafes. All the family from toddler to retirees loved the house and we went through the availability calendar to try and find a weekend for 2023 as we all want to return.

We all had a good weekend in the house enjoying food, drink and plenty of conversation around the kitchen table. This house was just perfect for our family weekend celebrating an 80th birthday with 4 generations. Big rooms, lots of space, lovely garden and thick walls so very soundproof - we had a 19 month old and a dog and all slept well. Location is superb, sea views from some rooms and just minutes from the seafront and the town centre. Highly recommend this place for large groups be it family or friends.

House is great for a large family get together with large communal areas and garden as well as lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and loads of good extras like books, board games, pool table for any bad weather days. Location is perfect right next to beach and shops. A very few small niggles that stopped this from being a 5 star rating: the outside bin was completely full when we arrived, there was no hand soap provided in the bathrooms, and it would have been good to have a welcome pack with some basics like milk, bread, dishwasher tablets waiting when we arrived - this seems to be standard in other places we have rented. However, we were close to shops so wasn’t a huge issue.

We had a wonderful time at this very well appointed and spacious property.Loads of room for 3 families that included children aged 7,5,2 and a baby. Couldnt have asked for a better property to rent for a week. Owners were very attentive and great to deal with. Highly recommended. Had a lovely weekend away with family celebrating a big birthday. Three generations enjoyed the accommodation, location and pool table! Just what we required. House contains everything you could need for living, sleeping and eating. Great location too for all activities. Really was home from home. Only suggestion given the weather we had is to put a mat just inside the back door - 11 pairs of shoes in torrential rain meant we were continually mopping the kitchen floor! Highly recommend. To give you 5 stars I would have asked for better showers in some bathrooms. The output of water was temperamental in a couple. However this shouldn’t distract from the property review at all and should be easily fixed by the owners.
