The beds were comfortable, and each one had curtains. The hostel itself is also really nice, and it's very close to the train station and trams. Showers and toilets were mostly clean, too.
It would be nice if they added outlets to charge your devices for each bed. I didn't have a personal one, except for the one that comes with the light, but its USB-A, which is a bit outdated. Also the comfort of the bed had some dirty spots.

The location. Its near the train station
Dirty sheets. When I check in they said my bed is ready. When i go to my room, someone is in my bed so i ask them. They ask me to check if there is available in the room who i think no one occupied. I saw one with no one but it doesnt have a pillow. I ask them and told me they will bring it in the bed when i came back after few hours there still no pillow. So i ask again going back and fort from the fourth flr. Then when I check the sheets in the bed i realized its dirty and used. Then On my 3rd day suddenly my key is not working so i need to wait for them to change it. It says that the reception is 24/7, but when i need to work during the night, there is only a guard who told me that people is not allowed in the area.

Good beds with privacy features, clean sheets, with bedside locker and bedside charging and light.
Nice croissants at breakfast.
No kitchen, no drinking water facility, inexplicably locks common room at night despite staff being present.
Rude staff at breakfast, poor toilet facilities and despite nice croissant, breakfast was very limited.

It was nice to have a quite extensive amount of workout spaces / gyms. Relatively quick access to supermarkets and restaurants, as well as transit. Decently clean rooms but not overly so.
Bathrooms were disgusting and super moldy! I could only find one shower that wasn't mold-ridden. Cost was kind of high for the exchange. No workspaces. Super loud music all the time. My bed didn't have any kind of curtain so light came in. No A/C and it was excruciatingly hot + open windows meant mosquito city :( . You make your own bed. I paid for a female-only room and a MAN both entered and slept in the room without the staff noticing!? What kind of security is that... super unsafe

This was the worst hostel I have ever stayed in.
This was unfortunately the worst hostel experience I have had.
• Reception not 24/7 as advertised – After 11 p.m. there was no receptionist available, only a security guard who could not offer solutions or room changes. This was very misleading.
• Unsafe room assignment – I booked a mixed dorm, but was placed as the only woman in a room full of men. On top of that, there were 7 people in the room because two men were sharing a bunk. I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe.
• Noise and aggression – One guest snored loudly all night, while another repeatedly hit the furniture in anger. As the only woman in the room, this was frightening and made it impossible to sleep. Earplugs were not available.
• Security and hygiene issues – Padlocks (advertised as available) were out of stock, so I couldn’t secure my belongings. Bathrooms were dirty and not clearly marked — twice men entered the women’s bathroom while I was inside.

Everything was good

Good croissants, room design means nice amount of privacy for a hostel, good location, nice staff.
I couldn’t get a refund for the date I couldn’t make, I just don’t understand why there would be any reason to not refund given fair amount of notice. Exploiting people’s budget concerns (in a hostel) by having a cheaper no cancellation price is a stupid policy.

It was clean and the arrangement of the beds excellent since it didn’t interfere with the others

The hostel's location was quite good, 2 minutes away from RER line E and about a 12 minute walk from Metro line 7. There's places to eat nearby, and also a Lidl and an Auchan nearby if you're on a budget. Breakfast was fine. Overall, good and worth it for the price.
A bit of salty options would've been nice for breakfast- like some eggs, cheese or some meat. There's no air conditioning in the private rooms so that maybe a problem for some (but we came early summer so the heat was still very tolerable.

Staff is really nice and helpful, which is a big plus point.
Although the hostel is not very near to the city, there is a bus station super near and metro directly, so the connection is quite well. It was also very peaceful, so you can rest and sleep well during the night. Breakfast is small selection, but tasty. There is even an oat milk.
It wasn’t super clean, especially the bathroom. Not a very pleasant sight to see. Also, in the room I noticed a lot of dust, as if it wasn’t cleaned for a longer time properly (I know it might also come from opening the windows). For me, which was slightly unusual was the fact that you can only take one piece of croissant or pan au chocolat for breakfast and that you have to pay 5€ for leaving your luggage, because I‘ve traveled to a lot of places and that is usually free of charge.

The hostel is a lively sport center in a modern building. It is located close to public transportation that makes all of Paris easily accessible. We stayed in a room for two that had a private bath.
Some of the residents were loud late at night in the hallway.

The vending machine could have more options

The staff kept the hostel impeccably clean. The UCPA hostel is located conveniently next to Rosa Parks Train Station and a short walk from Crimee Metro Station. Overall, I thought most of the staff were helpful and friendly.
No free shampoo or towel service. I'm not opposed to a company making a profit, but they overcharge for everything. Since it also operates as a sports club, it definitely has a different vibe. It's more like a racquet club than a proper hostel.

Big locker. The bar offers good food with good price. The staffs are very friendly.
For the good price the tenants are coming from everywhere, some people can be very annoying. The property is located right next to the train station, you'll need earplugs if you get put into lower story.

Great value for the money. Close to Rosa Parks train station, walkable to restaurants, on site gym and other fitness activities was a bonus.. climbing wall, squash, spinning etc. My private room was clean, quiet and equipped with essentials. Helpful, friendly staff.
Bed was uncomfortable and a bit thin mattress. No television. More toiletries could be provided especially in private room. More protein at breakfast would be great.

Clean and tidy, friendly staff. As I wasn’t able to run outdoors (19th is a bit far for a tourist type run along seine or canal st Martin), we took advantage of access to the fitness facility - climbing shoes were even free, thank you!! Proximity to train and various good eateries at Rosa parks- helped us enjoy our stay as well when we didn’t have to go far at all for food

The lower bed is very convenient and has lots of space. Separate wardrobe. There is a small light and a USB socket.
Reminder: The bathroom and toilet are not in the room. The subway is very noisy. You have to use your own sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases and drop them off in the laundry basket in the lobby when you check out. You need to bring your own lock for the cabinet. You need to bring your own shower gel, shampoo and hair dryer and ask the counter.
There is a fee for luggage storage

I like a few things. And its honestly because I had a better accommodation while I was in a different European city.
I did not like the assigned bed. It was difficult to lay the bed, due to it being upper bunk and a tight entry point. The restroom was not en-suit. The Wifi connection was not great. And it was very far from central Paris

Had a very pleasant stay at UCPA. Had just arrived to Paris and had to sort a lot of things out regarding my next job and the space was more than OK for sorting everything out. If I had to highlight something I'd say the cleanliness, everything is very well taken care of. Also, the staff was very helpful all the time. Also has a lot of spaces to work out which was really nice for me
The Wi-fi did not work very well at all times and in some areas it didn't have coverage. Also, could have had a few more sockets to charge the phone and laptop, specially in the rooms.

The gym
The cleanliness and the staff. I was absolutely appalled. There was an old towel left from the previous guest hanging (because there were also 2 clean ones on the bed), stains on the top bed blanket, what looked like blood on the wall, and last but not least, the mould in the shower was the worst I’ve seen in my life and I’ve stayed at a lot of hostels. The staff were incredibly rude and not apologetic at all. The manager wasn’t helpful and was the rudest of them all.
Also the power plug is by the door, which is so bazaar. You can’t charge something without moving it to open the door.

Location is quite good considering tourist attractions and cdg airport. Breakfast was too good, there are a lot of options in breakfast. Rooms are spacious with curtains around each bed for privacy.

Found 2 blonde hairs in the bed upon arrival, but overall clean for paris standards

The staff members were friendly and spoke English. I did not use the facilities when staying here but I liked the array of activities offered: rock climbing, weight room, squash, cycling classes, exercise classes, and hosted events. This hostel had unique facilities that I have not seen offered at others. I also enjoyed their breakfast, it is the same thing every day but yummy. The surrounding area had groceries stores, restaurants, Rosa Parks station, and Rosa Parks tram stop nearby about 5 minutes walking.
My room was not ready when I arrived. I booked a private room and upon arrival it was dirty from the previous guests. Coming to a hostel I'm not expecting hotel services but the bare minimum would be switching the bed sheets, removing dirty towels, and cleaning the bathroom. Aside from my room being dirty, I would say this hostel is not for a first timer to Paris. Hostel is removed from city center and took about 30 minutes to get toward center.

The hostel has a great vibe and there are always lots of people coming and going to the sports centre downstairs. The night we arrived there was an event on in the common area downstairs which was great fun!
The breakfast was good and simple. They had 2 options - one that was 5 Euros and you could get a pastry, glass of juice and a coffee. The second option was 7 euros which included a pastry, coffee, juice and also fruit with cereal options.
It was so easy to get into the centre of Paris. It is right next to the Rosa Parks train station. Also there are some great places to go in the area for food and drinks (the Belushis hostel bar, Paname tap house).
The beds were slightly loud when you rolled over but nothing major!!

Really liked the sports inclusion.
The family room was large enough and comfortable
Rooms were warm
Location is great right next to the station - it only took us 30min to get from the Catacombs to home.
I thought there would be some kitchen supplies, being a hostel. There was nowhere to make a cup of tea or heat up some food. You had to buy downstairs or go out.

Suitable for young energetic people to work on during the vacation. Good price in Paris.
Location is quite far from the center but if there is no difficult in using public transport.

It was a very clean place. It's a very convenient location near the station. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the airport, with one transfer. There are also facilities for sports such as badminton and squash. There are also restaurants nearby.
There is one USB port in the bed, but if you need to charge many items such as watches, cell phones, and batteries, you will have to use a shared power source. I was a little worried about safety. It would be great if there was a power source in the bed. But even in a dormitory, privacy is maintained.
