It was... Okay

The location was close enough to the metropolitan system and other public transport, we had no problem getting around the city from the hotel. The personnel were helpful and kind, room cleaning and towel change were made every day in the afternoon. Breakfast was overall good for the price. The room was okay.

The room we were in was really noisy and not well insulated, we could hear outside noises very clearly even with the windows closed, same with noises coming from other rooms or the elevator. At night we would often hear random loud rumbling noises, probably coming from the elevator or the drain pipes. We were not able to use the bathtub because of a missing draining cap that was not replaced. Overall we thought the room was going to be bigger and better equipped. Not the greatest experience for multiple days stays.

It was fine overall, but not spectacular.

The room was comfortable and clean, close to Gare du Nord.

The breakfast was quite bad, doesn’t worth €10. I don’t think there was any egg in the scrambled eggs and certainly no pancake in the pancakes. Very dry and tasteless.

Great place and location and value for money

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Great location for La Villette and less than 30 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord - ideal for stretching ones legs after a long journey! Breakfast was good and plenty of local bars and restaurants.

It was ok for a couple of days, but will it choose it again while in Paris

The bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

Two basic things must be fixed: 1) please wash the towels in the hot water with proper washing powder. The towels are very smelly even when unused, not to mention after the first use 2) fix a socket in the bathroom. It was impossible to use any electrical device as the socket was broken. Also the pics of the room are misleading as the room appears much bigger than it is in reality. Be honest and upload proper pictures.

I am happy to say that this hotel exceeded my expectations.

The hotel is very clean and well decorated. The staff on reception were welcoming and helpful. It is a professionally run hotel. The rooms were a good size. It was especially hot in Paris during our stay so it was lovely to come back to our air-conditioned room. I have stayed in this area before but not at this hotel. I plan to return to the Hotel Paris Villette next time.

Worth the price

-A decent size room and shower room -close to Metro stations 6-8minutes walk to Rosa Parks or Crimee or a 30 minutes walk from Gare du Nord if you feel like walking -secured facility. They lock the entrance door at night which you can only open using your key card or you can be buzzed in by the receptionist - receptionist are helpful and greets you every time -has a good working AC

-no mini fridge or kettle inside the room -the floor inside the room feels very sticky

Highly recommended, so far the best affordable option in Paris for me. Proximity to metro and RER is a huge plus. Hotel staff is also super nice.

I enjoyed my stay and was so happy that it was a clean hotel.

Very clean, friendly staff and the room was big enough for 3 people. The bathroom in particular is one thing that I look at and it was very clean.

Not far from downtown - 2 metros nearby and close to the canal - staff pleasant and helpful, especially Murad. Breakfast great value for money at €10 with a reasonable choice.

Very friendly staff. Rooms and facilities very clean.

The breakfast is a bit limited, but hey, still much more choice than i have at home. Rooms can be a bit noisy, especially with noisy neighbors. The hotel is relatively cheap for Paris and that shows a bit in the state of maintenance. Some things in my room could do with some repair/revision, but even so, it was absolutely clean.

Lovely staff - hotel not appropriate/not value for money.

Very thin walls - able to hear conversations in all rooms on the same floor (amongst other things) and room above - shower/bath did not drain whilst showering - water in our room had a strange odour. Breakfast although cheap was not appetising - location was much further out than anticipated (our error) - front desk staff lovely and wanted to assure us that although we may have read the area was not safe that it was??

it’s a normal 3⭐️ small hotel. the room was clean and neat.

it’s a little dodgy location. first thing our taxi driver told us when dropped off was to not leave the hotel when it’s dark because the area is not safe.

Would not stay again

Location was convenient. 7mins by foot to metro, multiple supermarkets around.

The rooms are much smaller than advertised. Sheets and towels were clean, but the room itself not so much. There were dirt (or mold) spots on the ceiling, bathroom not so clean. Very poor water pressure. Bed was hard and pillows small. You could also hear the elevator going all the time. Very poor breakfast. Not many food options and they do not restock! The breakfast is from 7 to 10am, but if you come around 9 there was basically nothing left anymore.

Perefect clean room for value for money.

I really loved the garden of this property. The room was nice and relaxing. I didn’t stays long the hotel on most days as I was out exploring the city.

The only thing that I wasn’t happy with was that the walls are a little thin but that’s to be expected with old buildings.

Would never return

The first Lady that welcome us was the only nice person we happend to cross in this hotel. The bed was comfortable, although super small, and the pillow was also good.

The staff was rude. I complained about the room being cold and the man wasnt bothered at all with that. Also, after cleaning, they left our room door open the whole day. I went to complaint and they did not care, despite that being reason enough to make an official complaint and just did a face like "Oh" and never apologised.
