Met so many wonderful people, immediately made friends with locals and hostel peeps there!

The beds have privacy curtains which I really loved. The common room is pretty basic BUT the hostel is also a public bar/restaurant and people party it up there. So, I not only met people who stayed at the hostel but also locals who came to the bar for the fun activities. Super fun community! And amazingly you can't hear the music and excitement of the bar when you're in your rooms. I absolutely loved my time here and will be back as soon as I can!

The room door squeaked kind of loudly so it was very disrupting going in and out at night (room 104 if y'all wanna oil the hinges!). Also there were no hand towels or even air dryers in the bathroom... people were using toilet paper haha).

All in all a remarkable space for the price one pays. Very economical. Staff is helpful.

The arrangement of the dorm beds in the space can be given a bit more thought. Some spots are more convenient than others and this could be changed for the better. The bathrooms could be cleaned more frequently.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Bathrooms are being cleaned regularly by housekeepers and they do great job :)

I really don't understand the idea of playing music in reception/ bar area so loud in the evenings. It makes the vibe worse, so you wanna leave the common space.

close to Metro and clean- some things to keep costs down

about a 5 minute walk to the Metro (subway/train) station. facilities were clean and well maintained. reception has a restaurant / bar area. also grocery stores within close distance.

paris is a very expensive city and this was one of the most affordable options so there are a couple of things to save money- the shared shower has a timer -to save water- maybe 20 seconds then stops which you press again 20 seconds then stops which can be repeated. Is a 2 euro refundable key deposit, same with a towel.

The shared rooms are nice and clean, with a nice view. Beds are very comfy with decent blankets. Toilets and showers were very clean. Also, there is a bar downstairs, which is very nice. overall, it is safe and clean.

On weekends, many people come to the bar and stay so late at night, making too much noise

It wasn’t good at this hostel for comfort.

The on-site restaurant was good instead of having to go out. The bathrooms are cleaned everyday.

The sound of people coming all throughout the night is disrupting to sleep. The beds weren’t comfortable. There’s no AC, so it’s hot and unbearable. The wire cages and metal bed frame are hideous and the worst thing I’ve ever seen. The showers flood.

The location is excellent. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

I liked the service at Élisson's reception. Elisson gave me directions to the tourist attractions when I asked. He's very calm and polite. I liked the friendliness of the Haitian boy who cleaned the room and spoke Portuguese. The tattooed boy at the reception desk who works the night shift was very helpful and helped me find my breakfast card. He was super kind. I didn't remember his name. The security guards are super friendly. They always greeted me when I arrived and I answered any questions I had.

I had to change rooms twice because the outlet didn't work and that caused a lot of discomfort.

A decent nice place to stay for few nights as a solo traveller

Loved the bed so comfy and the vibe downstairs where you can grab a drink and food, also the view on the canal.

I ddn't like the fact that you are not allowed to access the balcony from higher floors, also no locker is provided for the storages and room was a bit smelly.

Easily a good stay every time

I’ve stayed here a few times and always had a positive experience but the staff were especially great this time. I somehow ended up in a room with all men and the staff changed my room right away with no hesitation to an all female dorm. Other positives are that the rooms are spacious, bathrooms are clean and location is easy to find near the metro.

Location, price was good for a single room, and the staff were helpful snd friendly, it was nice and clean.

Great location and facilities!

Amazing location and the bar is super social with beer pong and locals frequenting. The staff were all great (shout out to Lys and Gaby on front desk) and the security is good so the place feels secure. One of the nicest shared dorms I've ever stayed in as its huge and the bed was very comfortable with curtains. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely experience in Paris

I've stayed in some St Christopher's Inns around Europe, and this has been my favorite so far! The staff members were super friendly and gave nice suggestions to enjoy the city. The place was always clean and tidy, I could see everyone was working to make guests' experience the best, definitely coming back :)

Some issues with the elevator and some toilets, but they were fixed pretty fast.

The environment was awesome! The staff was great. With so many different ethnic people staying there, you could easily make friends with anyone from around the world! The Mexican staff was friendly and helpful. The IRISH and FRENCH knew how to throw beer pong parties at night!

Short and sweet. It was fine, people were nice, some people weren't so nice, but that's how it is.

My first time at a hostel. Would like if there was a guide for everyone about cleanliness and organization. Too many people leaving garbage on the floors and not cleaning up after themselves. Would like quiet spaces we can change our stuff, so that we don't bother or be bothered by other people wanting to access their lockers under the beds.

Too warm, the room had almost no air circulation I had to pay three euros extra for I don’t know what, and just about everything except for the bunk bed requires extra payments

Exceptional

Location was amazing, felt like a very safe area, the atmosphere of the hostel was great and seemed easy to meet other travelers if you wished, made better by the staff, Camolela who worked at the front desk was particularly welcoming. :)

Bathrooms in the rooms themselves would be great. :)
