Nice decorated

Bed clean and comfortable. Staff seemed fine. Close to metro which is handy if arriving/deparing back to CDG.
Stingy and rigid breakfast, 2 boiled eggs but no option for fried or scrambled? Kind of strange... Needs more variety and flexibility, Paris attracts international visitors and we demand better than this mediocre option.
Bedroom and bathroom were absolutely tiny, but this is the Paris standard. However, the room had no sound isolation or noise dampening on the doors or walls, so you inevitably hear all the 'movements' of next door... Bring your earplugs.

The hotel itself is modest and functional, and check-in earlier in the evening was straightforward. Unfortunately, a serious incident later that night overshadowed the entire stay.
The property advertises a 24-hour front desk on Booking.com, and this was also verbally confirmed to us at check-in. However, on New Year’s Eve, when we returned shortly after midnight, the hotel was locked and unattended. There was no receptionist present, no doorbell, intercom, phone number, or instructions for night-time access.
After using the door handle and applying normal pressure, the door opened and part of the locking mechanism disengaged. There was no kicking, forcing, or intentional damage. The photographs shared with both the hotel and Booking.com show no signs of forced entry, only an inadequately secured lock.
What followed was the most unprofessional staff behaviour I have experienced in over 20 years and hundreds of hotel stays. Approximately 10 minutes after we returned to our room, a staff member came to our door at around 1 a.m., banged loudly, accused us of being in the wrong room, and demanded that I come downstairs for “verification.” His manner was angry and intimidating. I refused, as I did not feel safe.
This caused significant stress and completely disrupted our night. For a one-night stay, this affected the entire experience. Regardless of price point, guests should not be locked out at night, confronted aggressively by staff, or misled about essential services.
The hotel later attempted to characterise the situation as guest misconduct rather than addressing the lack of proper night-time access procedures. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this property, particularly to guests arriving late at night.

We loved the cleanliness & the most welcoming staff especially the receptionist who went out her way to help in everything asked/questioned regarding the area & local amenities, we thank her from the bottom of our hearts, she's a very special young lady
The room size with no storage for our Monday-Friday stay,we lived out of our suitcase which wasn't great, luckily we weren't in it too long as too much to see & do in Paris

It was so clean, the rooms were exactly as pictured, it was super close to the metro and the staff were fab.
Nothing.

Breakfast was excellent - a good variety and the server was friendly and attentive every time.
The hotel decor was quirky and warm, and all of the staff we interacted with were approachable and polite. Our room was small but perfect for what we needed. It was clean and comfortable. The room service food was good and we were offered a free drink as our first choice wasn’t available.
My only recommendation was enabling the TV to be able to receive screen sharing from a phone so we could watch English TV.

Comfortable room, pretty modern and super clean. The staff was always super nice!
The breakfast could have been a bit more complete, but it was still good overall.

Very clean rooms. The breakfast was nice.
There is no parking available on site. You'll have to walk 10-15 minutes away to park in a paid secure parking that'll cost 20 Euros per day for a motorcycle.

Excellent location, 1 min to metro , many different cafes, restaurants and supermarkets near the hotel.
I live in 7/f , lift only arrived 6/f, so I have by walk for one step.

I visited Paris for a conference and a few vacation days. The hotel was relatively close to the conference venue, located in a nice neighborhood. The atmosphere is extremely relaxed and friendly, with lovely decorations in the lobby. My room was modern and pristine, with a very comfortable bed, a desk and a sparkling clean bathroom.
Breakfast was really nice, with a great selection of drinks and food, offered in a relaxed environment. All staff were unbelievably friendly and polite, such warm, kind people!
I highly recommend Maison Urbaine, and would be delighted to stay there again, if I visit Paris in the future!

10/10 - French boutique style, with a laidback atmosphere that welcomes everyone from all over the world. If this is not enough then the personal touch of the hotel to accommodate your needs should win you over. The various members of staff from the front desk (Ghizlene,Jill, Yanetsi) to the cleaners are absolutely top notch and are more than willing to go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. It’s a small hotel with a big heart in the very center of France’s capital, easy access to the main train station and the metro, perfect for a base to explore this wonderful city.
Nothing, it cool and perfect!

Cool little boutique hotel. Great vibe, super friendly staff. Perfect location for the Paris Philharmonie - about 20 minutes walk away.

Right near a metro station; clean and smart; polite, friendly staff.
Room was small and bathroom tiny - would have been a squash for two people - but the size was indicated at booking. So as long as you’re aware it’s not a problem.

Our second stay at the Maison Urbaine — we chose it because the first time was perfect. The staff is welcoming and kind, the room was even better than last time, and the guest experience is always on point.

Pretty space very well decorated just as in the photos
It’s a beautiful boutique hotel with lots of charne. I just thought it was quite noisy. From my room I could hear loads of street noise and every water use from the others rooms. I heard them flushing the toilet using the shower or even using their sink. No idea why.
Just saying it because I sent them an email asking first a quiet room and this was not it.

the staff is great and the room is OK. Please pay attention that some rooms are very small. the one that I had was OK.
It is near conference area which is very convenient in the morning - no need for an hour's travel with in Paris, but in the evening not so great area.

The hotel staff were fabulous, so helpful and really made my stay. The decoration was also fantastic, modern, stylish and quirky.
The room was a little impractical with no surface to keep anything in the bathroom and no plug socket near the kettle. Everything else made up for it though!

The best thing about this hotel was the staff! Amazing! All were friendly and helpful. There was an amazing bakery around the corner, and the canal a 5 min walk. Would come here again when I visit Paris
Nothing.

Located very close to the Metro. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful.
The room was a bit small but didn’t spend much time at hotel as we were mostly out and about.

Front desk team was great, the location nearby metro & safe.
The windows facing the main road at Level 3 is not entirely soundproof & housekeeping service certainly need to be improved.

Close to the metro station. There are many small restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff is very friendly and I felt very safe while staying at Hotel Trema. Housekeeping is also good.
The elevator makes noises that you can hear through the door. It didn’t bother me so much, but it can be annoying if you’re sensitive to noises.

Next to the metro station so was easy enough to get from and to. Staff were welcoming and helpful. All round good stay
The bed, although comfortable, I had woken up to bites all over my ankles and feet which I presume are bed bug bites or some beasties in the rooms
4.0 / 10.0
- staff very friendly
- right next to a metro from where we could visit a lot of cool places
- modern
- one big mattress and one big sheet
- electric kettle
- could open windows
- lots of small restaurants and bakeries in the neighborhood
- mold all over the bathroom
- stains on the coverlet
- stains on windows
- ceiling was falling apart
- elevator was way too small, maybe 50x50 cm? Couldn't fit my wheelchair in it and had to go 4 floors up
- trash bin was rusty
- had to give back our key every time we left the hotel
- no option to sit outside (neither balcony, nor patio)
- thin walls and loud, antisocial neighbors
(- for me the bed was way too hard but that's preference)

Great location. Hotel was in the vicinity of the Subway and excellent restaurants.
Room size too small. The shower is extremely too small, To the point of being dangerously too small.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel is close to the metro so it’s easy to get everywhere. The room was clean with all the basics and the bed was comfy
I couldn’t fill the kettle up properly because the sink was too shallow and they didn’t provide milk for the coffee which was a little annoying.

The air freshener or smell they were using...it was very very strong n did aggrevate my sinus problem...but overall not any complain :)
