Perfect location , check in was smooth & the hosts were lovely & very accommodating when I had a few questions on arrival. The house is just perfectly located right on the beach. The loft area is perfect for kids, plenty of room & sunny bright & exactly what we wanted!

If I had to find fault, which I can’t really.. maybe the 2 main bedrooms downstairs could have bigger beds but I am really being picky with that! The house was gorgeous and had everything we needed and more!

The fittings and appliances are dated. All the crockery, cutlery and glasses were not clean to our standards, we had to wash everything before using it. This was especially annoying after being charged R700 cleaning fee. To be fair value for money would be way better for a bigger group.

This area of the Cape is food for the soul, and this house made it easy.

Homely feel to the house, it is in a great location, and it was well appointed - had all the practical stuff that one needs, and more. The beach facing stoep is great. The upstairs mezanine and bedroom area is perfect for kids and teenagers. Loved the large dining table for the family to sit around. Washing the dishes I could see the sea and the dolphins playing in the waves.

There was nothing that I "really" didn't like. If I was to be picky; - It is a long way to the toilet if you are sleeping upstairs - The indoor fire and braai setup needs some attention and tlc - The kitchen is a little narrow and crampt

The location is wonderful/near perfect and everything was in order and the home is extremely comfortable/spacious.

Nothing really, the dstv wasn't "active/on" when we tried watching a football match, resulting in us not being able to watch - so maybe a (very) minor "check-in" point for the host or even guests upon arrival. The host was extremely helpful and efficient/quick in resolving the above though.

Our entire stay was amazing! The house is spacious, comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed. We were so chuffed that they had a Nespresso machine since we forgot ours at home this time. For the very first time on one of our stays we enjoyed the shower - those shower nozzles are amazing. The beach view and quick access kept us entertained from morning till evening, watching the birds migrate, the waves, our beach walks, the sunsets, taking a drip in the ocean. Our kids had so much fun with the boardgames, I finally got to read an entire James Patterson book from their lovely collection.

This was exactly what I had in mind for a short break, our hosts were exceptionally accommodating.

Being just 10 footsteps away from the beach was an absolute treat, the views from this home are breathtaking. The house is warm, cozy, welcoming and very spacious with a well equipped and practical kitchen that has everything you need. The patio has a very comfortable outside seating area where you can spend hours sipping away at at your drink while watching the dolphins play in the waves right in front of you. There are multiple comfortable living areas to relax with a book. The bedroom with an ocean view is an added bonus to the laid back and cozy home. We felt like we were away for much longer than the actual two days.

Would have loved to have a portable braai for a view of the ocean while preparing supper, but the inside braai worked just fine.
