Pier Plain By The Sea

The place was spotless. No issues at all. Property manager was extremely helpful and amazing with communication. The whole place itself was amazing and super clean.

Only thing I would say was that the hot tub had bits of sand sat at the bottom which was quickly sorted and definitely didn’t affect my stay. Still an amazing experience and will do it again.

The rooms were nice and both had a ensuite and it was clean just needed a little spruce up to make it really nice. Hot tub was nice but where it is located needed a freshen up in our view!!

The hot tub was nice and warm however some of the functions and lights didn't work and the view wasn't that nice it just needed a few nicer features to make it a little bit nicer place like a few fake plants or nicer table etc. They had a ant problem in the kitchen which they had tried to address but the ant traps didn't seem to be working as we had to prepare food on table in kitchen rather than sides due to crawling ants which wasn't great!!

It was clean and well equipped, nice and close to the beach.

Lovely beach within 10 minutes walk, beach cafes, takeaways, hotels and an excellent Saturday park run. Well equipped kitchen but lacked instructions for cooker or heating. Three bathrooms, with plenty of hot water and towels. Two large double bedrooms with plenty of storage. Clean throughout inside but needs an overall refresh. Outside areas grubby and littered. Host very responsive but generic replies and no resolutions to concerns highlighted. Free street parking opposite house at weekends.

The location isn’t attractive but walkable to the superb beach and Cliff hotel who hosts weddings etc. Typical two up two down terrace with a back yard not garden. Updated on a budget and now needs a lot of maintenance and redecoration. Very cold and damp on arrival, 10c on thermostat, likely not been occupied for a while as towels damp in bathroom. Expected in February maybe but as the radiator didn’t work in the kitchen it remained cold in there for the duration. No instructions for the thermostat. Steep stairs inside and out to yard so maybe not suitable for elderly, toddlers or some dogs. Back yard has no nice features, however hot tub is modern and clean, some lights not working that’s all. A parasol/umbrella would have been great in the rain but the one laying on the floor was full of holes and broken beyond repair. Bedroom window didn’t shut so there’s a permanent 2cm gap, not great in winter. Bed dips badly in the middle. Toilet seat came off several times. TV takes a long time to set up and find channels. Ok for two adults in lounge but anymore and seating is limited and very basic. Ok for a reasonably priced night or two just for the beautiful beach or a cheap girly hot tub weekend but don’t expect any luxury.
