Seaside House

Location was excellent, parking easy, key pick up was easy. The house was very clean and spacious. We ended up squeezing onto the one sofa in the kitchen area as that was the only TV Netflix worked on, despite there being two other reception rooms. Beds are two small for a couple but luckily there were enough rooms for us to all have our own room.

The house was beautiful, comfortable and had every amenity you could wish for.

The only down side was inconsiderate neighbours either side (no fault of the property owners): one side allowed children to bang on a piano at 7am every morning and the other side felt it was acceptable to have a good chat and laugh outside their house at 3:30-4am and didn’t stop even though they were asked to!

on street parking outside was busy but we always found a space nearby - just a short walk to the beach and past the tennis courts where dogs are allowed in summer months so that was really good, welcome pack on arrival with wine crisps biscuits tea towel oven cloth dishwasher tabs small washing up liquid and couple bin bags - all facilities we could need at the house and plenty of space - I took the used bedding off ready before we left and the pillows duvet mattresses and towels were all clean and pristine

Its a big house and was a bit chilly on the last night but no instructions on how to boost / adjust heating in the welcome pack There were no cleaning products I could find, the toilets bowls were stained and needed a good clean - next time I would take some flash/ zoflora or similar for spraying kitchen, bathrooms etc There is a camera in the back garden, assume it’s monitored by owners for security purposes -didn’t see a camera on the front of the house - it would be nice to mention the cctv monitoring in the welcome pack - people less likely to feel spied on if they are informed and understand the reasons behind it There is a padlock on the back gate and no key, and so if there was a fire and it wasn’t possible to exit at the front, there is no way of exit at the back- might be worth looking into this as part of the property risk assessment

Lovely House with everything we needed. Nice Welcome pack for when you arrive , Very Clean and Modern. Beds very Comfortable and bed Linen very good quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seaside House it felt like a home from Home. I have already been looking to book again for later in the year. We will definitely be back.
