Seaside House

The location was superb, the property was a great size. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. Towels were soft and plenty provided. WiFi was fast but unfortunately the TVs were old and difficult to navigate. The stay would have been fantastic but the points below need addressing urgently.

The house was filthy, floors looked swept and clean but they were not. Our grandsons feet were black after running around. The kitchen table was sticky and needed cleaning which we did. You couldn't watch the TVs as screens were filthy which again we cleaned. The bins were full and the general waste bin was over flowing which meant we could only put the bags of rubbish we created outside the back door. The property had nice touches but it was let down by the fact that all the woodwork was chipped and dirty. The biggest complaint was we messaged the owner by text and email and got no response. We tried to contact the property management company who provide the upkeep and got response. Aweful service I'm afraid 😟 we have booked to come back to Gorlston but not at this property.

Water drained very slowly in showers.

Location was excellent, parking easy, key pick up was easy. The house was very clean and spacious. We ended up squeezing onto the one sofa in the kitchen area as that was the only TV Netflix worked on, despite there being two other reception rooms. Beds are two small for a couple but luckily there were enough rooms for us to all have our own room.

The house was beautiful, comfortable and had every amenity you could wish for.

The only down side was inconsiderate neighbours either side (no fault of the property owners): one side allowed children to bang on a piano at 7am every morning and the other side felt it was acceptable to have a good chat and laugh outside their house at 3:30-4am and didn’t stop even though they were asked to!
