Lovely cosy Lodge stay

The bed was super comfortable and the room was very warm and cosy, The staff were great and there were drinks available in the cabin before we left to go into the town for our night out. Would definitely recommend this lodge for any couple looking for a weekend away. Great spot!

The only thing was we had to get a taxi into the town but still it was only €15 so not bad

Home from Home

Riverside Lodge is in a great location, just 10 minutes drive from the centre of Carlingford. We had a triple room, this included 2 seperate bedrooms with our own front door. We had a beautiful view of the Cooley Mountains, as the room was upstairs and had a balcony. It was very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was perfect. Elaine is a great host, she privided us with local taxi numbers and recommendations for restaurants. The highlight of our trip was cycling the Greenway around Carlingford Lough, it has breath taking views.

Wonderful

The Lodge is set in a gorgeous and scenic part of Carlingford, super close to the wedding venue we were guests at, and easy to get into the town for food and drinks. Elaine is a fantastic host, giving us plenty of information and checking in to make sure all was okay, going above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Our room was immaculate. beatifully decorated, clean and quiet. Would 100% recommend!

A last-minute choice to stay over for a night in Carlingford and this was the perfect place.

I travelled with my autistic son of the owner contacted me back to let me know that they were stairs up to the room which was no problem. It was a perfect little self-contained unit of a master bedroom and a small single bedroom with a little Fridge coffee machine and a breakfast for the following morning of pastries coffee and cheese orange juice cereal and there were also some nice chocolate treats the beds are very comfortable love the little window seat overlooking the garden will definitely go back for a longer stay

Beautiful place very quirky lovely for a long weekend

This whole place is just a vibe on its own, the gardens are so peaceful with beautiful big fire places out the front of the venue, flowers are evey were a d the wee smoking room is quirky,Elaine was so helpful, and eveyting was on point, even the additional to details, the breakfast was beautiful 😍, I would definitely recommend this place and be back again 👌

We really loved everything about Riverside Lodge. Elaine is a lovely host & her property is spotless & so cosy. Can't say enough good things about it. We could not fault this place From the moment we entered we fell in love absolutely stunning accommodation and location everything was perfect beds are so comfy and one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed in not a fault we are still amazed and will definitely be back the host was so accommodating and lovely lady thanks so much and till next time

Beautiful setting with a very tastefully decorated, comfortable room and ensuite. Parking space, beautiful outside seating and well kept gardens. The owner was lovely, very polite and considerate. Hopefully we will visit again.
