Another wonderful stay at Zum Weißen Ross!

This was my fourth time staying here. The staff is amazing. The restaurant has great food. The whole place has a very charming atmosphere. It's also centrally located in Osthofen, so it's a short walk to anywhere in town, and the train station is a short 5-minute walk away.

Homey, well-furnished, and clean. The proprietors were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful!

No air conditioning, and it was a very hot summer day/night. Perhaps we could have asked for a fan.

Zum Weißen Roß is the perfect place to stay when visiting Osthofen!

Everything at Zum Weißen Roß was awesome! The breakfast was excellent, the room more than met all my needs, the staff was friendly and helpful, and there is a wonderful local charm throughout the property. The location is perfect for exploring Osthofen on foot, and it's a 5-minute walk to the train station, if you want to visit the rest of Germany.

A unique place to stay for a night

An absolutely unique place to stay for a night. Very friendly staff. Good and easy to find location. The apartment is big and stylish. Lots of antique furniture. Quite different from a regular hotel room! A very nice restaurant with excellent traditional German food and local wines. Cosy room for breakfast with a good variety of rolls, meats, cheeses, fresh eggs, etc.

A "must" for nostalgics of furnishings from three generations ago!

Breakfast was great.

The hotel only serves meals on Wednesday and Sunday but we were unaware of this. The hotel had the means to inform us before our arrival and we could have made alternative arrangements. We had to go to a supermarket to buy food, the hotel gave us a beer each and locked the door. But "bring your own glass please!" and there was no chance of a second beer. Some may think it romantic to picnic in the garden and happily it was not raining but we finished our picnic in the dark with no lighting and we had to go and fetch sweaters. (The room was hardly big enough to eat there)

Unaufdringliche Gastlichkeit mit Retro-Charme

Freundlicher Empfang, unkomplizierter Check-in, pittoresk begrünter Innenhof, bequemes Grünerzeitmobiliar, gut funktionierende Elektroheizungen, gutes Frühstück in angenehm entspannter Atmosphäre, kostenloser Parkplatz.

Es gab an dieser Unterkunft nichts zu beanstanden. Vorsicht ist aber beim Parken auf öffentlichen Stellplätzen angebracht. Es wird häufig kontrolliert (und kassiert). Die innerörtliche Verkehrsführung um Baustellen herum war ebenfalls etwas anstrengend, aber Problem hat sich hoffentlich mittlerweile erledigt.

Schönes Zimmer mit kleiner eigener Terrasse. Toller Innenhof, sehr gemütlich. Super tolles Essen im Restaurant, selten so gutes Fleisch gehabt. Sehr nettes Personal. Allgemein außergewöhnliches Ambiente. Leider nur eine Nacht da gewesen, im Sommer bestimmt ganz toll...

Netter Kurzaufenthalt mit leckerem, wohlportioniertem Essen in angenehmer Atmosphäre.

Vollkommen unproblematische Anreise trotz geschlossener Gesellschaft und letztlich sogar noch einen Platz für à la carte im Nebenraum (es waren tolle Portionen, die uns als Salate & Omas Rinderschmorbraten serviert wurden). Sehr zuvorkommender Service , ob beim Parken auf Hotelparkplatz oder hinterher beim Essen. Regionale Speisen & Weinauswahl, Flasche Wasser gratis auf dem Zimmer, sehr bequemes Bett. Gutes Frühstück, Eier auf Wunsch.

Für uns "Kaffee-Tanten" nur größere Kaffeebecher !

Es war in Ordnung.

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung und das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind alt, aber sauber. In Osthofen ist die Lage gut. Es liegt an einer zentralen Straße, aber durch den Hof ist es sehr ruhig.

Es ist nicht so einfach, in Osthofen in der Woche eine Gaststätte für das Abendbrot zu finden.

Super schön

Wir waren auf Pilgerreise. Wir wurden mit einer kalten Weinschorle herzlich empfangen. Der Wirt war so freundlich und zuvorkommend, dass man sich richtig wohl gefühlt hat.

sehr orginelle Übernachtung, sehr herzlicher Gastgeber, feines Restaurant für Abendessen. Da unser Zimmer eine kleine Terasse hatte, konnten wir sogar auf unserer Terasse abendessen. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir über Nacht in den Rittersaal stellen - wo gibt's denn sowas? Hat uns recht begeistert

Auch wenn die Ausstattung mittlerweile in die Jahre gekommen ist, ist es ein sehr gemütliches und einladendes Ambiente. Ein schöner Innenhof lädt zum Verweilen ein und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Das Essen war sehr gut, ebenso wie das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Begrüßung incl. einer Weinschorle war herzlich und man fühlte sich gleich willkommen.

Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist in die Jahre gekommen.

Ritterliches Hotel, uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen

Hatten zwei Zimmer für eine Nacht auf unserer Radreise gebucht. Empfang war unglaublich herzlich, es gab eine Schorle zur Begrüßung (nach etlichen km in den Beinen und bei der Hitze wirklich fantastisch) Räder konnten sicher im Rittersaal abgestellt werden, perfekt. Die Zimmer waren rustikal, ritterlich eingerichtet. Alles sauber. Es passte einfach alles zusammen. Abends hatten wir einen Tisch im Restaurant reserviert. Essen war sehr lecker! Terrasse sehr sehr schön, viele Blume. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Frühstück: alles da was man braucht.

Das Zimmer war sehr dunkel und der Badentlüfter war sehr laut!Ansonsten ok.Im Flur roch es müffig.

Sehr sehr schöner Gasthof Sehr schön angelegter Innenhof,mit sehr viel Liebe und super vielen Detaills angelegt Eine Begrüßungsweinschorle gab es auch bei der Ankunft Man wird sehr freundlich begrüßt und man fühlt sich sofort wie zuhause Auch das Abendessen war ein Traum Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt
