Pool on the top of the roof

No balcony. There tall windows and some space to step out but they are not balcony.

Location and the size of the rooms were good

No balcony as we usually dry swim things on a balcony but the downstairs laundry was a a great addition to the building. We were surprised by the visit of the cleaner on Sunday am but she was very helpful in allowing us time to finish breakfast. Staff very helpful.

The beds were terrible - so hard, very uncomfortable and you only got 1 pillow each which was wafer thin. For a 3 night stay it was one small towel set per person; which is not ideal, I did ask for more however was told it was inline with the sustainability policy and if I wanted to I could use the washing machine - I don’t go on holiday to do washing. Also the narrative of the place on the booking page makes it look like the washing machine is in your room - it isn’t it is in a communal room in the basement and when we went to look it was full of washing so not available, do you really want to be waiting around to do washing on holiday ? The pool area is unusable not only is it a very cold pool as it doesn’t get much sun, but the walkway around it gets wet and in my opinion this makes it not ideal. However the worst situation is the sunloungers - cheap plastic, no cushions terribly uncomfortable, and no sun shade. The fake plastic grass is just awful. Not enough toilet paper in the room And no coat hangers in the wardrobes in the main bedrooms / Makes hanging clothes impossible. The sofa was also stained,. Walls need painting Just overall poor quality and not worth the price.
