Disappointing
The location was good and the price was fair
It stated in the details that parking was included but after paying for the stay it was notified that a charge of £10 per day to park was applicable. Very misleading. The property was very "tired" and not very well cleaned.

My experience was very disappointing. After I paid for the booking, the host asked me to pay a security deposit that was even higher than the rent itself. They refused to let me check in before paying this deposit. In addition, the place was not clean at all — there were spiders everywhere and it felt very uncomfortable. I do not recommend this accommodation.

Very dirty on arrival. You need to give an extra deposit directly to owner before you get the code that I have not had any info about getting back. Trying to get hold of the property owner/manager is almost impossible unless you go through booking.com. The number just rings out. Then they hang up on you. We had the shower leaking into the kitchen causing electrical short. Tried to report at 0700 int the morning did not get through till 1100 and at 2100 or later they had not got back to me so I called booking.com and then the owner phones to say they had done nothing about it. And we had to deal with no heating and no electricity till the next day they would send someone. Not until late afternoon Somone turners up to re seal the bath. Kept happening through the stay and still have not heard back from them. Complete lack of cleanliness and maintenance done to the property back garden was full of cigs, Wall stained, wired smell.

Suitable and great location bad side they don’t like to refund the deposit
Location was great , shops etc close by and close to job house was ok would of been better with a working tv and a living room couch overall I would visit again but the deposit situation has thrown me off
No loving room couch just table and chairs dated , plus tv did not work .. they have an attic room which you have to walk through another bedroom to get too not ideal and the ladders to the attic was not safe but staff came round a day later and made safe which was fine … the property take a £250 holding deposit and even tho you show the upmost respect and keep there house very clean and better than when arrived .. they still hold your deposit and take the piss every time you ask for it back I have had about 20 messages back and forth and still waiting for my deposit to land in my bank which is stressful I was thinking to re book for work but the deposit situation has to thrown me off it’s a disgrace and booking.com do nothing about the matter

it was a nice area and somewhere to sleep as not far from longleat
the bedrooms where spacious good kitchen and bath and they were clean
the ceiling in the kitchen had mould damp due to precious people no fire alarm couldn't sit as a family as one chair my daughter went to sit and fell as the chair was rotten some of light bulbs weren't working

We ask about how is switch on the hiter's no one tell us about that.we are very uncomfortable because very cold in side the house.we are sri lankan's our contry is hot whether.As we are new to this country, we cannot bear the cold once, especially my little children faced severe difficulties due to the extreme cold. When we asked how to turn on the heater, someone called and told us to turn off all the heaters. It is very unfair.

It was good at first but then…..
property is close to a lot of restaurants and is quite close to the city. the bed given is also somewhat comfortable.
the owner is from Ireland and he’s not around to be there should there be any problem. the owner requires for a deposit to be paid which is around £250 and it is taken offline. it was our mistake that we didnt ask for a receipt or insist that payment is made through booking.com. we inquired about staying another night here and he mentioned that we can settle payment by deducting our deposit (at £160 per extended night). but in the end, when we mention to him that we DO NOT intend to extend our stay, he still proceeds to cut our deposit and only refunded the remaining amount. I keep asking for our refund of deposit or inquired if we have damaged any of the items in the house but to no avail and he ignored us until today. its been 2 months and he ate up our £160. this is a fraud and I HIGHLY DO NOT SUGGEST TO STAY HERE unless you don’t mind losing your deposit. also, the heater in the house is broken and when we asked the cleaner, she confirmed it was broken. we weren’t told of this when we entered and since we’re not used to the cold weather, we feel very uncomfortably cold throughout our stay.

Good location...poor quality
Location was good...only 20 min walk to bath city centre. 3 min walk was a lovely shopping centre with local butchers bakers etc. Bathroom spacious and well appointed . Kitchen well equipped...but...(see below)
No parking. In the middle of a student area so very noisy. Garden was a tip..not good when you have a 2 year old in the party. Strict policy that ONLY registered guests can enter property..otherwise you forfeit security deposit so they wouldn't allow (despite email request) a mobile hairdresser to style the girls hair for a wedding. No comfy seating area..only a dining table and chairs. One bedroom is in the loft...accessed via another bedroom. We had to put cot in the loft...mum n dad in the bedroom downstairs and carry the 2 year old up a ladder to put her to bed. ( not mentioned in the booking) Overall standard of décor was poor...fires removed from hearths but not finished off. No utensils (large spoons, ladles, skillets etc) in kitchen. Took 2 weeks and several emails to get the security deposit refunded. Basically a poor standard given the cost...which had to be paid IN FULL at the time of booking

Good location, decent bathroom.
Very late check-in - 6pm, although following several emails I did manage to get access at 5pm. The reason for the visit was my sister’s birthday party, which started at 5pm, so we ended up arriving late as we couldn’t get into the property to get ready, despite asking for an earlier check in well in advance of the visit - we were told this was because the cleaner needed access up to that point. Conversely, on check out, the same cleaner arrived promptly at 10am, so I’m not sure why they couldn’t have done that for the start of our stay when the previous visitors had left at 10am, and we’d specifically asked for earlier access in advance.
The photos don’t show this, but the fourth bedroom is in the attic, consisting of two single beds, accessed via a roof hatch and ladder which pulls down next to the bed of the middle bedroom - you need to be agile to make use of it, and not mind descending into someone’s bedroom while they are sleeping if you need the bathroom during the night. It’s a ludicrous set up, and I’m not sure what would have happened in the case of an emergency as there’s no means of escape from there apart from the ladder.
The fixtures and fittings are incredibly cheaply done - terrible pillows which were akin to sleeping on a crisp packet; there were fag butts in the garden, and worst of all, the inside of the fridge and the cupboard fronts were very dirty (despite the late check in for cleaning reasons). The place is advertised for 8, but if a group of three or more stays, take your own glasses, plates and cups or eat and drink in relay, as there’s hardly any glasses or crockery provided.
On departure be aware that they will withhold your deposit until the week after check out - we stayed on a bank holiday so according to their rules we weren’t due to receive our deposit back for close to 2 weeks after departure.
