A perfect home-away-from-home sensation

We picked the place based on other travelers's reviews and they we very accurate. Jovana and her husband Nenad proved the most hospitable and supportive hosts. Though small, the detached house boasts 3 beds in 2 bedrooms and a huge sofa in the living room/kitchen. It's locayed in the yard, right behind the hosts' house, so it is very quite there. We liked the amenities, which are very convenient, in greta shape and easy to use. You can cook meals and wash'n'dry things right in the house, and a rack on a small terrace is there to dry them outdoors; besides, in cold nights, you can enjoy a programmed electric heating system, which is a rare thing in rented houses in Belgrade (we rented some before and it may be a serious challenge). Iparkn just 100 m. up the hill, there is a great park, while 200 m down the hill is a daily (except Monday) farmers market, gym ( 500 RSD (a. 5USD) for a daily pass, a taxi stand and a supermarket.The only downside for some may be the need to climb 200 m up the hill with one's load of groceries, though it is a great free exercise. Jovana's mother runs a laies hairdresser right on the ground floor of their house, which is a huge plus for caring husbands- they can earn some precious time by sending their wives for a high-quality treat;). As some guests have already noted, one has to climb a few stairs to reach the house, which may not be easy if you are out of shape and have to carry a heavy bag, but the whole area sits on the hill, so get prepared for the challenge. If you decide to pick the house, Jovana is always happy to respond to your queries and share the most detailed info about the place and general information.

Gorgeous little house in quiet neigbourhood

Beautiful apartment, actually entire separate house, situated in the quiet area. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Host Jovana and her family were very kind and helpful and welcomed us with a basket of sweets, coffee and a bottle of traditional serbian drink "rakija". The apartment is close to popular Belgrade locations such as Košutnjak park, lake Ada Ciganlija and the center of the town is only 15 minutes by car. We highly recommend this accomodation.

Everything is clean and coffee, tea, chocolates, towels all are ready even rakia 😄. And host is very polite and kind. Two bedrooms have 1 twin bed and 3 single bed. And at the middle of the house there is a lounge. Big sofa bed and tv and also kitchen. And a small garden. For families here is so comfortable. We were so happy to stay here.

The place is much better then it looks on the pictures. It's very quiet, clean and really, really COZY. We loved it very much, and had nice family times. We came very late that day, but the owners were so great, they were waiting for us until midnight... Definitely would come again...

We loved it, and felt at home. We’d love to stay there again.

The location was fantastic. Banovo brdo is a center of it’s own. It has so much to offer (swimming in Ada ciganlija lake, walks in Košutnjak, cafés, park with kid activities,…). It is also very well connected with Belgrade’s center (10-20 min by bus). The spot was perfect. My kids also loved it. The hosts were helpful, very friendly, and pleasant.

Superb

An excellent location, very beautiful and peaceful, at the same time having shops, market and bus station in 3 min. walk. The house is not right on the street, but is behind the host's house yard, which feels very safe and cosy. As far as I understood, located in one of the ideal places in Belgrade. The city has a major problem with garbage, but this is one of the few places where you can forget about it. So: an excellent district within the city, and excellent house location within the district. I've been searching quite a lot around Belgrade recently, and I dare to say that you can hardly want a better place. A hospitable host, giving us all extra things we needed, making all things in time, always keeping in contact with us, and even providing more help.

Problems with electricity: turning on some appliances simultaneously was constantly leading to switching-out. It should be fixed to accomodate a big family, like mine of 5 people.
