Beautiful accomodation and location. The spa was really wonderful, we had a great break.

The cottage was clean and the spa was really lovely

There were a number of rules we found difficult to comply with, e.g. only 3 people in the jacuzzi, don't leave windows open etc. Although the cottage takes 6, there were only 4 seats in the living room, plus 2 bean bags. There were only 4 of us thankfully, because we're past the beanbag stage.

A little clearer on the publicity that the pool etc is at extra cost - we missed it as didn't scroll all the way through. Our own mistake but if it could be clearer higher up that would be perfect

Set in a lovely quiet area about 15 minutes from Forfar. Beautiful refurbished cottage stayed with family including my 86 year old dad. Would have been a 10/10, however Booking.com don't tell you that the Spa needs to be pre-'booked and is not included in the cost. Wasn't dear about £30 for 2 hours which was exclusive to your party. Pool was refreshing and jacuzzi could have been a bit warmer. I would have used the facilities more if you could have access to it late morning/ afternoon but most bookings is 4-8pm with a possibility of booking 7-11am. It would be good to have access to a shower stool and a rail to hold onto in the walk in shower room for the less mobile guest. And for the vain a full length mirror. Great little find though.

Family Break

Superb cottage that was very well decorated and equipped. Log burner a nice touch. The pool and sauna were amazing. Place is spotless. Paula and Robert were terrific hosts and a great time was had by all.

We had a lovely stay in the cottage when up visiting for a nearby wedding. Paula and Robert were amazing hosts and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay. The cottage was lovely (and very big) and the spa is a really incredible bonus. Couldn't recommend highly enough!
