Beautiful quirky lodge, warm and comfortable. Location superb for a feeling of out of town, but in reality a 5 minute drive to Edzell facilities. Sit outside in the morning and enjoy the sounds of nature, birds galore. At night, enjoy the silence and enjoy no light pollution and if lucky enough, a sky full of stars and aurora. Then get warm by the log burner. 🥃
No dislikes, just sad to leave.

A quaint lodge gate house. Nice outside garden and secluded location. The accommodation was warm and cozy. Comfy beds and places to sit. Hot water on tap. Storage heaters and a log burner kept us cozy.
The second bedroom was a little drab.

set in a spectacular location with views across open fields
due to the extremely high winds earlier this year , lots of trees and shrubs around the property have come down which took away just how good the property would have looked .
