Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated property with everything you could need for your stay right on the highstreet. I was overwhelmed with the apartment and can't wait to rebook, I did not want to leave ( I am a very fussy traveller). Lovely balcony over looking the church grounds. Proprietor Suzie extremely friendly and helpful. We loved exploring the bookshelves, the toy cupboard and little drawers with hidden treasures. What a lovely treat for us all this was. Only thing I would suggest is to have a sign at the bottom of the stairwell for outdoor shoes to be left there...only to preserve the beautiful carpets even more.
Great wifi.

The apartment is lovely and has a well equipped kitchen. It had everything in it that we needed, and more (e.g. a picnic blanket!). It was nice to find games in the cupboard, there is a TV and hundreds of books. There were also a few DVDs and CDs. The area is good for walks and scenery. The location is very central within Kirriemuir.
It would be better if a second telephone number was available on the website, after the issues we had getting into the property and the owner not being contactable (it was sorted fairly quickly). In the back bedroom we were woken by the sun coming up at 5:30am so it would be better if this room had black out blinds. Also, with it being next to the bathroom, it would be good if you could oil the bathroom door hinges because it is very creaky and loud, so we'd get woken in the night from that. Even better would be a soft-close toilet seat! There could be a bit of street noise to be heard from the front bedrooms (noisy people occasionally rather than traffic), and the church bells from the back bedroom (not much can be done about that but I was thankful I'd remembered my earplugs). Another thing that would be useful would be to have information in the apartment about parking nearby. You can only park on the street outside for one hour. There is a car park very close but it was difficult to tell what the rules were. The sign said 4 hours maximum stay, but the machines to pay were covered, so I wasn't sure if that meant you could stay there as long as you needed.

Plenty of room, looked like it has recently been renovated & in a lovely place. Susie was really helpful too & was on hand to answer our queries whenever we needed.
The only issue we found was that the WiFi link wasn't the best. Not the end of the world though

This apartment is spacious and airy. The kitchen is so well equipped and the split level lounge is a fabulous space to relax and has a wonderful little balcony to enjoy. The bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. Loads of storage space, but two things make the place special; all the wonderful art and the amazing welcome that Susie the host provides.
We can’t wait to go back
Only complaint is that we had to leave and go home

Susie was a brilliant host and her apartment is so well placed for the magnigicent scenery in the area. The living room/kitchen (with a balcony!) is just the most relaxing place to be. An early morning coffee with such a great view of the sky is everything I wish for on a holiday. Everything you could possibly need is literally on the doorstep in the quaint town of Kirriemuir. But....drive for about five minutes and the landscape and scenery will take your breath away. We were so lucky to squeeze in our visit before the second lockdown and be treated to the amazing colours that only Scotland in autumn can give So many places to explore nearby, even if you only want to wander for half an hour. A
beautiful place.
No tv in the living room. We are not telly watchers but after a day walking it would be nice to be able to settle down with a glass of wine and a film
