- A peaceful secluded location (come prepared - the shops are quite a drive away). - The house is immaculate - very clean. - Great WiFi throughout the property. - Well equipped - in all other holiday homes we’ve stayed in there has always been something we needed that was not there. As such, I take a box of kitchen bits a pieces with me. My kitchen box remained closed - everything we needed was there. - Robert and Fiona live next door and were quick to respond to our queries, which were made via the booking.com messages. Highly recommended.

Not permitted to charge our plug-in hybrid car at the property. Not a problem for us because we have a hybrid, but it would have been useful to know in advance. I would have been happy to pay an additional charge for being allowed to do this. However, this was a very minor issue and in no way ruined our time there.

We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful holiday home. Very spacious, surrounded by natural beauty and had everything we needed. Loved gazing out into the garden. The host gave us a walk-through and showed us the bits and bobs which was helpful. Lovely styling and comfy couches to relax.

It's a bit of a drive (20-minutes or so) to any of the little towns but that was part of the charm.

The home was the cleanest accommodation my family has stayed in. The additional free cot and hire chair use was very much appreciated too as it meant not travelling with extra luggage. The scenery was quiet and my parents enjoyed watching the wildlife from our windows.

I think something needs done with the surrounding floor brick in front of the fire place as we often tripped or stubbed toes on it walking in and out of the living room. Other than this, everything was exceptional.
