We were attendingthe folk festival ….very central property for all venues

Very adequate base to stay.

Fairly well kitted out kitchen. Good shower.

Parking was very difficult. There were no guide books or information about how to work appliances, or suggestions of places to visit, or local restaurants etc. A loaf of bread or small bottle of milk would have been more appreciated than the snowball tea cakes. Sorry to sound ungrateful.

Exceptional

Beautifully located in the centre of the town, everything you might need in easy reach, local shops, pub, supermarket. Of road parking in short walking distance, right opposite police station. Flat itself is really nicely decorated and clean. Most importantly, short drive from Glenshee skiing centre. Very friendly and helpful host. Thank you for making our New Year's trip so special.

Generally, the flat was very well equipped, but we were missing good frying pan to make eggs for breakfast and maybe some sort of shelf in a bathroom.

Kirriemuir is a lovely interesting place to based yourself to explore

It was light and airy. The kitchen was one of the best equipped I have stayed in. Lots of local shops for provisions. Good shower. Susie helpful with our questions about the area

Nothing we didn't like, but just for note for other. Nothing I dint like, but more to be aware. It's quite a steep staircase. Didn't effect me but stayed Friday& Saturday, but my friend a light sleeper and across the way is Roos Bar, and she had broken sleep. On Sunday so peaceful.

Central to the glens. Lovely town/village.

Lack of clothing storage. A chest of drawers in the bedroom would have been useful. A proper wardrobe, rather than a hanging rail too. Also a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. In a property being rented out to holidaymakers, at least one visitors guide. A history of the town would have been nice. With no internet, some local information would have been good.

Nice apartment in a good location (but no Wifi)

This was a nice apartment in the middle of Kirriemuir. The Co-op grocery store is very close. There is a bus stop nearby that we used to get there from Dundee. Also within walking distance of the JM Barrie house and other sights and shops. Within the apartment, the kitchen and living room were well equipped.

I missed from the listing that the property doesn't have Wifi. One downside of the location is that it is close to a bar. This was no problem most nights, except for one night where somebody was having a bachelorette party until 1 AM, so it was a bit difficult to sleep. Other than that one night, the location was quiet.

Just perfect. Clean bright apartment in great location

Lovely apartment in great location for us. Owner so helpful and communication A1. Just a phone call for keysafe number to get keys. Follow up call to check everything ok. Very clean and nice little touches like a welcome note. Fully equiped kitchen. Will most definitely return. Highly recommended.

A great location in Angus very clean with all the facilities you would need ideal base to explore the glens of Angus

exceptionally clean and cosy in a great location with some on street parking and a large car park only 1 minutes walk away we moved in for a few days because of a power cut and loved it

Starry Rock Flat, Roods.

It was very clean and tidy. Susie was a wonderful host allowing a later than usual check in. She really saved our break in Scotland after a huge let down by a previous place. The area is very quiet, everyone we met were very friendly. There's a co op a stone throw away, a quiet bar opposite the flat and take aways very close that require a 2 min walk at most. The closest is right next to roods itself. The Starry Rock sweet shop below the flat is a fantastic sweet shop with very friendly staff. We bought 2 months supply of sweets in 1 day. Its a fantastic shop and the oldest sweet shop in Scotland. Their hand made Horehound hamburg's are so good I will be using their online shop to buy more.

We couldn't fault our stay in the Starry Rock flat.

Great stay

Very friendly host! (Thank you Suzie!) Accomodation totally exeeding all expectations and for a good price! If you don't mind driving 1-1.5hrs to places there's a lot to do in all directions! We particularly liked Arbroath Cliffs!

Nothing host can help with- just to be aware there's a pub opposite However, I'm a light sleeper and it didn't bother me... You may actually apprieciate having it so close! (didn't visit there, couldn't leave kids on their own)

Our perfect holiday flat!

Exelent place, lovely flat and superb owners! Flat is amazing, well equiped. We found evem more than we expected! Fully equiped kitchen, many interested books for adult and children. We even had a feeling that our flat is worst :) place is perfect as a summer base for a short family trips around. Mountains, glens, sea, cliffs. We are more than satisfy! If you are hungry, we can recommend Currymuir Cousine nearby. Delicious Indian and Pakistanish food.
