Location was great, quiet and quaint. The cottage itself was full of character from the beams to the fireplace. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to use the oven to make pizza and chips. Wanted a quiet break away from the hustle and bustle of the city and we got that. Really enjoyed the location and the walks in the Forest of Dean. The host was available if we needed any help which was great.

Excellent location to access everything the Forest of Dean has to offer. The cottage was very well equipped with everything we needed. Lovely garden space and off road parking was ideal.

This property was perfect for us and our three large dogs. Garden and downstairs space is larger than appears in pictures and totally secure which made for a relaxing time. Beds comfortable. Hosts welcoming. Can walk to the forest easily (circa 5 mins). Dog friendly pub within 3 minutes (our three were allowed in the restaurant part too - no bother and they do take up some space so this is unusual!). Overall exceeded our expectations and I’ve already recommended to others!
Nothing. It’s clearly a well loved property and the hosts have been attentive to making sure everything is available and all previous feedback has been taken into account (thank you to whoever asked for a coffee machine!!). Literally the only thing I couldn’t find was a pen to sign the guestbook because I failed to pack one! I’d say that was pretty amazing for a holiday property!!!
