This property was perfect for us and our three large dogs. Garden and downstairs space is larger than appears in pictures and totally secure which made for a relaxing time. Beds comfortable. Hosts welcoming. Can walk to the forest easily (circa 5 mins). Dog friendly pub within 3 minutes (our three were allowed in the restaurant part too - no bother and they do take up some space so this is unusual!). Overall exceeded our expectations and I’ve already recommended to others!
Nothing. It’s clearly a well loved property and the hosts have been attentive to making sure everything is available and all previous feedback has been taken into account (thank you to whoever asked for a coffee machine!!). Literally the only thing I couldn’t find was a pen to sign the guestbook because I failed to pack one! I’d say that was pretty amazing for a holiday property!!!

Fabulous cottage, fully equipped with everything you need. Kitchen is large, loads of pans etc. large leather sofas in the living room, comfy beds, thick towels. Hosepipe for the dog, lovely enclosed garden with patio furniture. Location couldn’t have been better, 5 mins away from town, shops, accessible forest walks. Owners are lovely, live next door but do not encroach on privacy, highly recommended. Don’t normally book the same cottage twice but we’ve booked again for next year.

We had a wonderful stay the cottage. So welcoming, comfortable and cosy. We loved every minute of being there, it’s a proper home from home, kitchen is so well equipped, Beds are comfortable as is the living area. Bathroom awesome, with choice of bath or shower, toilet upstairs was very handy. The garden is a bonus, completely secure for my Sisters dog, he totally loved it. Thank you Jo & Luke for a lovely stay.
