Beautiful remote location, the domes/yurts were spaced out so we had privacy and it felt like we were the only ones there.
Great space and facilties, plenty of room for us and two dogs. Host provided tea, coffee and crockery. It just felt so cosy and peaceful
Toilet/showers were very clean and liked that there were individual units with a shower and toilet rather than a communal sort of block which we've had on other sites
My only drawback would be the WiFi which she did warn us was intermittent due to location, but we both used our phone data and that was fine

The Merlin tent was a beautiful stay with everything we needed. The location was brilliant and had a perfect pub and corner shop a two minute walk away. It was brilliant that we could park next to the tent and the log burner made it perfect.
It was a shame that our neighbours for the weekend were loud throughout the night but this wasn't anyone's fault but theirs.

Lovely location and facilities were perfect. Beds were surprisingly comfortable
A warning that there are horses immediately behind. We arrived in the dark so don’t realise they were there. We were woken in the night to what sounded like something trying to get in the tent!

The shower block was great and the site was nice and quiet. There is a good distance between the tents.
The tent we stayed in was probably very nice when the site was first opened, but it all looks a bit tired and in need of significant maintenance. The site is self-check in and out, so we didn’t have any sense of who owns it, or feeling of hospitality. It is expensive for what it is. It has great potential but I think the owners need to look at facilities with fresh eyes, or charge less.
