Beautifully designed home that is close to the subway and buses. Across the street from park with Imperial Palace. So many great restaurants and stores within walking distance but still so peaceful and quiet. Very comfortable stay with our family of 4. It was very hot in Kyoto during our stay and the home was nice and cool with the AC. Definitely recommend and would stay again!
One thing to note is there are very steep stairs to the bedrooms upstairs so it may not be good for anyone with mobility issues.

This is an amazing property which was the best on our holiday. It is a spacious old town house that is traditional yet equipped with modern technologies. It was huge for Japan and our boys felt like ninjas staying there.
The traditional flooring, walls and beds. The huge warm bath looking out to a Zen garden was cool too.
