Comfortable 2-bedroom apartment very close to the center of town

Comfortable two-bedroom house (2 floors) close to the center of town, just a few minutes away from Marienplatz. Very convenient for restaurants, cafes, shops and grocery stories. The kitchen was well-equipped and there is a large living room upstairs for hanging out, also with a nice balcony for sitting outside. Really great set up for two couples or a family of four traveling together. Pickup of the key is at an office on Bahnhofstr (look for the Portuguese food/wine store) very close to the train station. Friendly and easy/ The office only opens at 15:00 so be sure to time your arrival in Garmish-Partenkirchen accordingly.

Because of the close proximity to St. Martin church near Marienplatz, it meant that you can hear the church bells all night long, especially from the upstairs bedroom. With earplugs you start to tune it out :) What would be good is a fan in the bedrooms so that it's possible to close the windows to keep out the noise of the church bells and street without getting hot.

Perfect location and a nice little house.

Great location, good parking and a nice house

After a very long drive, obtaining the keys was hassle. There was no one there, not any instructions either on our bookings. Luckily the host answered the phone and directed us to his office, but even that was hard to find as we were tired and a bit confused. It wasn't a good start and I would suggest a key box is installed. The host himself was very nice and we had a lovely stay there.

We really enjoyed our stay in the area

It was a good location

The toilet was downstairs and the shower was upstairs The washbasin plug in the shower room did not work so it was impossible to wash in the basin The decor was reasonable but there are areas especially on the tiling where the repairs are very roughly done. It gave an impression that the building was not lovingly cared for.

Es war extrem kalt in der Wohnung, die Bettdecken sehr dünn, keine Decken verfügbar, WLAN ging nicht, der Vermittler war trotz mehrmaliger Versuche telefonisch nicht erreichbar

Die zentrale Lage war sehr gut. Es war alles vorhanden was man für ein paar Tage benötigt.

Wir waren leider etwas enttäuscht von unserer Unterkunft. Die Fotos sahen vielversprechend aus, aber vor Ort entsprach die Realität nicht ganz unseren Erwartungen. Einige Details, wie das Duschbad im Obergeschoss und das WC im Untergeschoss, hätten wir gerne vorher gewusst. Ein größeres Problem war jedoch die Tatsache, dass das Fenster in einem Schlafzimmer nicht geöffnet werden konnte, da die Nachbarin starke Raucherin ist und der Qualm direkt in die Wohnung zog. Als Nichtraucher war dies extrem unangenehm für Familien mit Kindern nicht geeignet.

Schöne Wohnung

Die Wohnung hat alles, was man für ein paar Tage braucht. Zwei geräumige Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer mit Balkon, Küche, Bad und WC getrennt, was wir eher praktisch fanden. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet, nur der Schrank über der Arbeitsfläche wirkt etwas instabil. Ansonsten ist die Wohnung recht schön eingerichtet, und wirkte von Anfang an einladend auf uns. Die Kirchturmuhr hat uns gar nicht gestört, eher gehört das zum Charme der Gegend. Der kettenrauchende Nachbar hat sich eher zurückgehalten. Check-in und Check-out waren sehr einfach, und rund um die Uhr möglich. Allerdings muss man den Schlüssel woanders abholen. Es ist alles fußläufig erreichbar, aber zum Hausberglift ist es schon eine ordentliche Strecke, vor allem mit Ausrüstung.

Am besten wäre ein Schlüsselkasten direkt an der Wohnung, so dass man nicht extra den Schlüssel holen muss.
