One of the best apartments we have ever stayed at!

Spacious, clean, stylish, modern and truly well equipped flat, in a peaceful residential area, within a walking distance to Garmisch centre, a huge balcony wrapping around the flat and spectacular mountain views from every window. A 5-minute drive or a 25-minute walk to the Hausberg ski area. The apartment was so beautiful and comfortable that you could have lived there permanently.

At times when using the huge shower head in the very modern bathroom the water wouldn’t run down fast enough. No ski room so you need to rent a box at the cable car station.

Minor things - no hooks for towels in toilet or bathroom, no place to dry ski clothes, no place to put clothes in the bathroom but the floor, one bed side lamp not working, wardrobes really stylish but hard to use.

Spacious apartment in a beautiful location

Great location and nice view of the mountains. All the basic amenities were present. Close to the centre and close to main attractions in Garmish.The host was very friendly. My kids enjoyed the stay a lot. We will definitely come back.

Disappointing

Location to the Kongresshaus and restaurants.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this apartment. From the moment I arrived, there were clear signs of poor maintenance and lack of care. A dead bug was stuck on the wall right as you enter — not exactly a welcoming sight. One of the biggest issues was that the television never worked throughout my entire 4-day stay. I reported it immediately, and while I was told someone would be sent to fix it, no one ever came. I was also promised a €50 refund for the inconvenience, but that was never received, and my messages have since been ignored. Basic supplies were also lacking. There was only half a roll of paper towels provided, with no replacements, which is unacceptable for a multi-day stay. There were also no hand towels in the bathrooms to dry hands — another example of poor preparation for guests. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and attention to basic details made the stay far from comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend this property unless significant improvements are made.

Hidden smoke smell - beware!

Location is good Apartment is spacious. There's parking on-site.

- Getting the keys was a stressful process - the person that manages the property made it sound like we should know which unit we were staying in (there is an upper and a lower apartment). We hadn't been told so didn't know which keys to take. The keys are also not even marked clearly with which is up or down. The person managing the flat made it seem like it was our fault. - Secondly the apartment smells like ground in smoke - we brought this up with the person who manages the property who essentially responded by saying it is a nonsmoking apartment. Please beware if you are sensitive to smoke - Lastly note that the check-in hours are STRICT - we had to be out by 10am and not allowed to check-in until 5pm - there was no accommodation for early arrival. I understand cleaning needs to happen but this is a big window for that - and on top of that it seemed less than ideally cleaned - still some cobwebs above the shower.

Good layout and beautiful outlook.

Great layout, plenty of room and fabulous lookout from the balcony. Easy access with a car and plenty of street parking. I would give this an excellent rating except for the lack of fans in summer.

Smell of smoke noticeable to non smokers. Providing fans (they’re a minimal cost) would have helped make sleeping more comfortable. 30+C days meant the bedrooms took a long time to cool down even with bedroom doors and windows fully open. Trying to sleep initially was uncomfortable because of the heat. It would be a nice extra touch for guests to have the option.

Very good location near the city center, but in a very quiet place. There is no problem with parking on the street, the neighbours are friendly. There is also nice garden.

There could be more cooking tools in the kitchen.

This is my second stay here, so I would say it speaks for itself. I really like the location of the accommodation and , of course, the accommodation itself. All comfortable and in good taste.

The bed was too soft for my taste, but this is just personal. Also, I missed the Nespresso machine that the other appartmen had.

Beautiful clean and very comfortable apartment with great views

We stayed in the Amelie Garden apartment on the ground floor. This is a beautiful one bedroom apt with sofa bed in lounge. Rooms are lovely, comfortable, clean and large with mountain views which is a bonus, had large kitchen with all necessary equipment and bathroom had a bath and rain shower. Pics don't do it justice. It's a short walk to centre of town so ideally located in Garmisch. We were short 1 duvet cover and pillowcase but hosts dropped off a set quickly. We would stay here again maybe next year's trip. 🙂

Modern apartment with spacious rooms in quiet neighborhood close to supermarkets and restuarants.

Spacious rooms. Brand new kitchen, fully equipped! Plenty of parking, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to supermarkets, shops and restaurants. I would stay there again.

The entire building was having new stucco installed and repainted. There was plastic sheeting over most of the windows and scaffolding everywhere. Not a huge issue but were not informed until two days before arriving. Getting fresh air into the apartment was a challenge.

great location and very comfortable. although we could hear the upstairs neighbours moving about they were quiet after about 10.30pm. very quiet street. comfortable beds.

unfortunately the balcony was unavailable due to painting. also windows were covered with plastic which was a bit claustrophobic.

Very good accommodation in Garimsch

Really nice, quiet and comfortable apartment and, as other said, it looks better than in the pictures. It is located a very quiet part of the town, o a side street and from the balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. The Internet connection is good. Bonus - there is a Nespresso machine :)

Amazing apartment

The room is amazing. The space big enough fot 5 people. The supermarket is close to the apartment. The apartment has a very nice kitchen and living room so you can prepare the meal by yourself. The apartment also has a spacious balcony. You can enjoy the breakfast at the balcony

Waking up to the lovely view of the mountains was the best part, hope to visit again!

The view of the mountains from the wrap around balcony was excellent! Very convenient location near to supermarket and restaurants and only about ten minutes to Marienplatz, the center of town. Large living area and bedrooms, nice kitchen and table for meals. Very helpful hosts and very clean apartment.

Gute Unterkunft, traditionell und modern

Die Unterkunft war geräumig und gut ausgestattet, die Küche und das Bad sehr modern. Die Lage ist gut, man kommt fußläufig ins Zentrum oder zu einem Supermarkt. Wir kamen mit einem Türcode und einem Schlüssel problemlos rein. Von den Zimmern und dem Balkon hat man etwas Ausblick auf die Berge.

Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig, und die Bewohner über dem Apartment sind abends stundenlang hin und her gerannt, haben Klavierspielen geübt, gehämmert... Das hat uns etwas gestört. Man muss auf der Straße parken, da gibt es zwar einige Parkplätze, aber nicht immer direkt am Haus.

Το διαμέρισμα είναι πολύ όμορφο, καθαρό και άνετο, ιδανικό για δύο ζευγάρια, με αρκετό χώρο ώστε να εξασφαλίζεται άνετη διαμονή. Η τοποθεσία είναι ήσυχη και ταυτόχρονα βολική, προσφέροντας εύκολη πρόσβαση στα βασικά σημεία της περιοχής. Η συνολική αίσθηση του χώρου και η διάταξη των δωματίων είναι εξαιρετικές.

Ωστόσο, θεωρούμε ανεπαρκές το γεγονός ότι δεν υπήρχε ούτε ένα ατομικό αφρόλουτρο ή σαμπουάν. Πρόκειται για ένα στοιχειώδες είδος που αναμένεται να υπάρχει σε κάθε κατάλυμα. Φτάσαμε Σάββατο απόγευμα, όταν τα καταστήματα είναι ήδη κλειστά, και αυτή η έλλειψη δημιούργησε πρακτικό πρόβλημα κατά την άφιξή μας. Παρά αυτή τη σημαντική λεπτομέρεια, το διαμέρισμα προσφέρει μια πολύ καλή εμπειρία διαμονής και θα μπορούσε να είναι άριστη με μικρές μόνο βελτιώσεις στην παροχή βασικών ειδών υγιεινής.
