Adamswiesen is just steps away and Garmisch-Partenkirchen Ski Resort is within an easy 10-minute walk, so leave your car at the property, which offers onsite parking. If you're looking to expand your horizons and see other nearby locales, you can catch a train at either Garmisch-Partenkirchen Hausberg Station, a short 9-minute walk away, or Neuer Zugspitzbahnhof Station, 13 minutes away.

After you return, unwind in the garden or sip a drink on the porch or lanai, and don't forget about the outdoor furniture. As for the great indoors, you can come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and cable/satellite TV.

Not far away from the Hausberg cablecar and city center of Garmisch. Nice, modern and clean appartment, with no wishes left open. The view from the appartment on the mountains is maybe not the best, but the mountains are not there to look at, but to hike on :-)

If I could give Fritz and his property a 20/10 I would. The accommodation is beautifully presented, well equipped, spacious, warm & cozy. The town of Garmisch is beautiful and such a convenient location to explore wonderful sights, all within an hours drive. Fritz was there to meet us when we arrived. He is so friendly and helpful. He even left us a drink each and some cookies from the local bakery. I would not hesitate to recommend this property for a holiday at any time of the year as you will be rewarded with stunning scenery, vistas and sights. Thank you so much Fritz. Our stay in Garmisch far exceeded our expectations! It was the best Vrbo we have experienced. The apartment and its location were perfect! Fritz, our host, was exceptionally personable, flexible, responsive and accommodating to our needs. The apartment was bright, modern, clean and comfortable with high end kitchen and bathroom fixtures. The quiet neighborhood location was convenient for walking to many restaurants, grocery stores and the central Garmisch shopping area. We didn’t even feel the need to rent a car. We highly recommend this property to others, and if we return to Garmisch, this will be our first choice! Danke Fritz!

We had a wonderful experience stay at Fritz’s apartment. It was in a perfect location, close to everything. The apartment was very nice and well furnished. Fritz was a great host and gave great recommendations for restaurants and things to see and do. There is a great view of the mountains from the living room. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need. This is one of the nicest rental we have stayed in!

From the moment I stepped foot in the apartment, it felt like home. It is perfectly located with only a short walk into town and to swimming pool (WELLENBAD). There are so many hiking paths nearby to Hausberg, Riessersee, etc. The mountainous views are spectacular. With the GaPa card Fritz provides, you get 1 free entrance to pool. You can take the busses for free. Check out benefits by googling Gaps card. Fritz always stands ready to assist - he was very attentive, ensuring everything was ok. A good place to eat is Zum Wildschutz, 10 minute walk into town which he recommended. There is absolutely nothing lacking in this apartment. Fritz was so thoughtful - with beverages in the refrigerator and a delicious piece of cake. I was impressed in that he had a flower on kitchen table. A true gem of a vacation rental.

Fritz was so helpful and the place was gorgeous. Perfect location to walk downtown and to the pool. We spent a fantastic Christmas here and will be back for skiing. Thank you again Fritz for your help with a Christmas tree. It was beautiful.

Very comfortable and new home in Garmisch that is a 10 minute walk from downtown and slightly more to the Hausberg Bahn. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and living area provided us a great place to relax, prepare meals, and enjoy Garmisch. Fritz is a considerate and attentive host. We would stay here again if the opportunity presents itself!

What a lovely place. Spacious, warm, quiet and modern in a nice residential area. Fritz met us on our arrival and took time to show us around the apartment, explain how things worked like the door entry, the shutters, the appliances and the downstairs drying and boiler rooms. It is just a short walk to the gondola for skiing and also into the town. Would highly recommend the apartment and the owner.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property over our Christmas vacation. It is very modern, clean, and within walking distance to skiing and downtown. From the beginning, Fritz was very helpful in helping us plan places to eat and see while on our stay. He was there to meet us as we arrived and charmed everyone in our family. He even stopped by to bring us Christmas gifts. The apartment comfortably fit our family of 5 and it was nice to have available off-street parking while there. We took advantage of the washer & dryer and extra storage in the basement.

A wonderful holiday rental. Very clean and modern. Owner very easy to work with. Apartment in a very quiet residential area within a 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants. The only negative is the narrow driveway. If don't have a small car, I recommend parking on the street. We definitely recommend this apartment.

We (my wife, son and I) are spending our final night (4 in total) at this incredible apartment. I came to Garmish for a conference at the Edelweiss Hotel, my wife and son for a vacation. The apartment is only 1.5 kilometer (15 minute walk, 3 minute drive) to the Edelweiss front gate. The PX and commissary (closed on Monday and Tuesday,by the way, but the shopette caries a good assortment is just a bit further away. If you need a local grocery store or more than what the shopette caries, a Lidl is just a short bit down the road. The apartment is so centrally located that we could walk (maybe 10 minutes) to the center of town (we did this regularly for dinner). The bus system is simple and for a mandatory tourist fee makes the entire area easily accessible. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools are very affordable and again, easily accessible from the apartment. There are amazing restaurants in town and everyone that we visited spoke English. I would recommend Isis's Golden Engel, just to the left (if facing) of McDonalds and very reasonable and authentic. We were later than expected arriving and the owner was extremely accommodating. He allowed us to use a VAT form and provided a receipt in a timely manner. After a short stay to show us around,he was off. A few times we even called and asked questions about the area and as he lives nearby (but not that nearby), he was able to guide us in the right direction. He speaks very good English and provided incredible hospitality. We will recommend this apartment to anyone we know visiting Garmisch and hope to return when possible. My only fear in writing such a rave review about the central location and amenities provided is that everyone else will want to stay here and I won't be able to get in again. A note for the visiting service members, retirees, contractors and govies.... Everyone can use ALL of the services and amenities within the Edelweiss Hotel (just $5 for the pool, and all the tours available, but book early, they go quick).
