Short and sweet

There was a gorgeous shower and big windows in the room.

BEDBUGS!!

Good area, the room was ok, it seemed to be clean at first.

There were bedbugs!! It was a horrible experience to try to sleep with animals crawling all over you. Plus, it was super hot, and they had no fan or ac in the room.

An uncomfortably hot and poorly ventilated stay that forced me to leave early and ask for a refund

It was hotter in the room than it was outside. You cannot open the windows because the whole door opens directly onto the street, and you are more or less level with the pavement on Level 1. It is unsafe to keep the door open, as anyone could get in. So it is impossible to sleep with the door open or leave it open to air out when you are not there. There is no air conditioning (a big mistake on my part not to check this before booking), and there are no fans or any other way to cool the room. Essentially, the room was unbearable, and I had to book another hotel. I asked if I could get a refund, as I didn’t stay at the hotel for the last two nights. Reception agreed they would look into refunding one night, but as I am writing this review, I have not heard anything back. I am now working with Booking.com to try to find a resolution. Further, my room was not cleaned, my towels were not changed and my bed not made. I’d like to say you get what you pay for, but this was not cheap for the price I paid (I’m aware prices fluctuate). Photos are of the room that I came back to after a full day out. I would recommend against this property.

A very old-fashioned hotel, a good choice for a single night in Paris before an international flight, but not a very com

It was convenient to the metro station

We had a room at the top of the building. The elevator only went to the third floor and we had to take the stairs the rest of the way. The windows had to be open to keep the room cool and there was a balcony immediately next to it. Privacy was a challenge.

Bad staff member ruined our last day

Quaint small hotel that offered a nice place to sleep. Staff was overall quite nice but most did not speak English.

At the end of our stay one staff member who had helped us throughout the trip was kind enough to let us keep our baggage at the hotel as our bus out of the city was leaving at the end of the day. When we returned to grab our baggage, another staff member, who we had not seen yet was more then clear that we were not welcome to stay any longer then wanted. We were not allowed to use the bathroom, charge our phones, or even wait inside for our uber. Besides that he also mentioned that they were kind enough to let us keep our baggage there and that we had not been kind to them at all, which was not the case. Had it not been for this issue we would have been happy to give a better review but this man blatantly ruined our last moments in the city. We will not be returning to this hotel in the future.

Fair price for fair hotel.

This hotel was friendly and basic. You get what you paid for. The picture on booking.com does not reflect the decor of the hotel. It was basic and clean and friendly.

The walls are thin, you can hear talking and laughing but it didn't bother us. The shower works, but the tray fills up with water. Slow release of water down the plug, so be careful the tray doesn't overflow. It isn't the greatest hotel, but we used it as somewhere to sleep while out all day. That was perfect.

I had a very early start, but had a nice shower and a good sleep, would be happy to stay here again.

There should be bedside tables. Mirror in bathroom was so high that I couldn't see even the top of my head. Hook on wall needs to be reattached with proper wall-plugs (room 202). A note for reception: room keys should not be accessible to guests, perhaps a locked box with a small top opening should be provided for their return? However, I don't know how one could get one's key on returning, any time reception is not manned.

No breakfast , no tea coffee or kettle in the room , no light on the Hallway throughout my stay , you have to put on your phone light to see on the hallway

The bed ,pillows are very uncomfortable, no tea coffee or kettle in the room , the hotel was noisy , the receptionist came to open the door on me while I was half naked to tell me that am noisy on the phone , most times there is no one at the reception during the day , my stay there was miserable I will NEVER recommend it to any one and will never go back there

great location friendly staff, even though they almost do not speak English

uncomfortable bed, no sound isolation at all! not clean enough: we stayed 5 nights, and the room was hardly mopped once during our stay. it was rather dusty, I got eye inflammation because of it. old towels — but changed regularly the bathroom was cleaned too

Truly disappointing

Room was dirty, it was very loud and noisy. But thats wasn’t even the bad thing. 600 euros have been stolen from my backpack while we were out in the city!

The location is good and convenient, the place is very noisy.

I tried to put up a good face and be polite despite all the inconveniences. *The staff is extremely unfriendly, unsupportive, distant, indifferent and cold. They don't seem to care about their clients. *The elevator was broken and was never fixed. I traveled with my aunt who has a heart condition and it was very hard and complicated for her, I was in constant fear and preoccupation for her. They gave us a room on the second floor with four flight of stairs, but they never proposed anything. *The room was only cleaned twice in eight days. There's no phone in the room for a case of need or emergency. *When I arrived and before paying from Sat. 08/22-- Sat 15/22 as originally agreed I told the staff that I would be in Luxembourg on Monday 10/22 and coming back Tuesday 11/22, I asked if they could let me stay until Sunday 16/22 instead because my flight back home was that day and that I would leave the room available for anyone. The staff said we could work it out but I was charged the full amount and never received an answer. They charged for the day I was in Luxemburg and gave me no choice to stay, on the contrary they told me I couldn't, so I had to rent another room for Saturday night. I think they place has potential and that they can do a better business if they show some kindness, concern, support, some interest in the people they serve. It's hard to communicate with people who don't show any empathy.
