That there's a door connected to other apartment and during my stay one man entered through that door into our apartment when we were sleeping without any notification...

A quaint apartment in the 14th

The apartment is well maintained and has some kitschy decor which lends itself to the vibe of the place. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the bathroom is clean and tidy. The building has a lift which surprised us since most places in Paris do not. Marie is very sweet and is available most of the time to answer queries or help out. She even recommended some places we should go to when we checked in. The apartment is within walking distance to 2 metros and multiple bus stops and we had no problems going to other places. The area also has a large number of bakeries, creperies, bistros and restaurants (multiple cuisines) within a 20 min walk so it's great. Would definitely consider the apartment again for our next visit!

You need to pay to use the washing machine even though it's within your apartment unit. Not a major issue but feels odd.

Excellent place to stay to visit Paris.

The location was ideal on line 4 of the Paris metro as we travelled by Eurostar into Gare du Nord. In the same building there was a boulangerie where we could get fresh croissants for breakfast.

When we booked with Booking.com I was sure that the price included breakfast, but checking with our hosts they hadn't provided an inclusive breakfast for nearly 2 years.

Marie and Michel are so kind and helpful and always willing to help you plan out your itinerary for the day over a beautiful French breakfast. Marie was very understanding of my partners complicated dietary concerns and we were very grateful for the care. Amazing value for money, we were so grateful to stay here. A perfect way to experience Paris.

Great location - away from the tourist crowds but still very convenient to get to all the major sites via metro. Apartment was clean and charming. Hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was spectacular.

Very convenient location, 10 minutes walk to the bus station and underground metro. The host was very welcoming and friendly, also very helpful with recommendations. Very cosy room design. Comfy bed. The host was so thoughtful they even had umbrellas available for use. Very spacious apartment.

The bathroom was not well cleaned, there were some hairs here and there. The weather was very nice at night so we opened our windows, but the absence of mosquito nets made us regret. I also didnt like the absence of hotel slippers.

Amazing Experience in Paris

The hosts, Marie and Michel, are amazingly friendly and helpful. They make you really feel at home, with there warm and welcoming personalities. The breakfast is so good and cute. You always get something different, at least a piece is homemade (for example cakes, jams or muffins). Mostly you get something sweet from the bakery downstairs, as well as fruits, joghurts and good coffee(s). In our opinion the location is perfect. You only need 20min to many different places in 'downtown' with all its famous sights. With two metro, many busses and the rer you are quick everywhere. Also the airport, where you can go nonstop by RER. On the same time you experience the untouristy everyday life in paris. The area of the accomodation is sourounded by little markets, parks, a tiny shopping street, Coffeeshops and restaurants (many also for reasonable prices). The room itself is bright, big and very detailed fournitured. You even have a bathtub from which u can see the tip of the eiffeltower. Last but not least is was no problem to arrive early and leave the luggage at the flat of the hosts. All in all we couldn't have asked for more. It was a perfect 5days stay in Paris. We really can recommend staying at Marie's&Michels B&B and are looking forward to coming back.

What a wonderful B&B. Marie and her husband Michel are such a lovely couple. The room was fantastic with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Marie’s homemade cakes made breakfast one of the most exciting moments of the day! We hope to return soon for another stay at this wonderful place and fabulous city. It’s definitely not true what they say about the French! We found everyone was friendly and kind!

The best B&B in Paris

Everything. The location was spot on, 2mins to the metro, quiet local neighborhood with many excellent patisserie s nearby. The rooms were squeaky clean, well thought out and the beautiful hosts poured their heat in designing a room so Parisian and so homely. The breakfast made by our hosts were made with so much love and affection, something that I never experienced in a b&b before. Lastly, the hosts themselves we're lovely people who look great efforts to make sure our stay was comfortable.

Mehr als außergeöhnlich!

Ein wunderbarer Ort in einem zwar nicht so prominenten, aber umso charmanteren Viertel der Stadt. Die Anbindung an Bus und Metro ist sehr gut, die Spaziergänge gleich im Viertel - mit guten und sympathischen Restaurants, Cafés - machen den Kontakt zur Stadt ganz einfach. Und der Ausgangspunk, das gemütliche, für Pariser Verhältnisse wirklich große Zimmer mit kleinem Flur, großem Badezimmer, Fernblick machen auch die Heimkehr am Abend schön. Das alles wird ermöglicht durch die Gastgeber, die uns (französischsprachig) beim Frühstück ihre Stadt und ihren (kulturellen) Blick auf sie wirklich zu Füßen gelegt haben. Bezaubernd! Ganz toll!

Rien n’est comme sur les photos. Pas de baignoire. Pas de propreté. Un appartement de 1800. Catastrophique. Le propriétaire c’est permis de rentrer dans l’appartement sans prévenir. Il a arrêté le chauffage.
