Well for short economy stay

Central location and very good value for the location.

Aged and dilapidated. There was no TV, no toiletries (aside from cheap hand soap), no city view, no fridge. Some other guests were noisy and the sound insulation of the walls feels paper-thin. Woke up with many alarms from other guests, starting at 05:00.

Great location but a bit rundown and grimy. Needs new paint and carpet. Travel light, no elevator.

Location is great, near to everything I wanted to see in Montparnasse and close to Gare Montparnasse. The guy at the front desk was accommodating to change my room to a lower floor rather than have me go up four flights with a heavy suitcase. It's my own fault for booking a hotel without an elevator.

It's a bit run down and grimy. Not dirty per se, but not really clean. Carpets and paint are in need of a refresh. Also smells a bit stale. Granted it was a hot summer day, but still. My room, which they were kind enough to change to a lower floor had a window that opened up to a roof of the lower back half of the building. So I couldn't really keep it open all night, as it was clear people sit on the roof and smoke. Also, it's possible it was mosquitos or something else, but I got eaten alive by insects overnight in the room. No evidence of bedbugs, but I came away with half a dozen bites on my arms and legs. To be honest, not the best value for money, even for a budget hotel.

Cosy, quiet— exactly what I needed.

No breakfast, but just around the corner there was a brasserie. I liked the atmosphere of an old house. Warning for older / disabled people: there was no elevator. It didn't bother me. No Internet connection.

A decent budget hotel at an excellent location

The location was excellent, the room was clean. Lots of bistros and all necessary public transport and enmities in a 5-10 minute reach. I highly recommend this part of the city, and if you only need a bedroom to stay in it's hard to find a better deal than this.

The enthusiasm of the staff went from nonchalant to straight up uncaring. Never rude but never accommodating either. A smile goes a long way.

Clean and decent-sized rooms for a one-star hotel in Paris.

The room was very clean and quite large. The prices for late June at the places I usually stay took my breath away. The location is excellent. It is on a nice market street and near several Metro stops. My room had a refrigerator and a television, although why anyone would watch television in Paris is beyond me.

This is a one-star hotel. No elevator, narrow dark hallways, no a/c. The shower was tiny, and I am a small person.

Unpretentious cheap(ish) hotel in a good location

Reasonably sized room with functional furniture, nothing exceptional, but definitely not unpleasant. Small, but perfectly usable bathroom. Good wifi signal for medium fast internet access. The staff is friendly and efficient. And of course, the hotel is in a nice part of Paris with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance; no problem even finding a supermarket open after midnight.

The shower is small and inevitably bumping into the shower curtain risks leaving the bathroom rather wet. Some combined body and hair shower gel would be nice, there is liquid soap both on the sink and in the shower.

bed bugs !!!! they didn’t provide a full refund and now the bed bugs have infested my suitcase I’ve had to treat all of my things because they didn’t value their customers enough nor do they follow health codes - they have an infestation and still remain open to serve the public - this hotel is from hell - i demand a full refund - I’ve spent nearly a 100 Euro to treat my clothes and belongings and prevent the spread of bed bugs !!!

Greta neighborhood but the the hotel was lacking

The room was modernized in an older building

Never any hot water no matter what time of day or night. When I got u7p early to leave the hotel for an early flight the hot water was non existent. Also the fridge in the room was not working. They said that they would fix it but in fact did not

Passable

The receptionist was very rude, the safe box was not working, and they demanded to keep the room key, when I questioned about the security of my belongings he said he has the key to all the rooms and the code to all the safes boxes then he kept repeating that I had to stay calm and trust nothing more. I didn't feel comfortable with this situation.

Avoid this hotel!

Only the location is good.

To my dismay, in such heat, there were no fans or anything else to cool the rooms. I didn’t really understand why we had to hand over our room keys when we left the hotel for the duration of a program. Unfortunately, this bad experience didn’t end here… I was horrified to discover that the hotel must have been infected with bed bugs as I brought them with me. The extermination process was costly and inconvenient. Not to mention the many itchy bites on all over my body.

only room keeper lady knows English and she was friendly

location is good close to metro and train but it’s not that much close to notre dame or Eiffel. moreover it was disgusting about cleaning when we turnt back to home thousands of bugs we’re having fun in the room on ground and at wall. that’s why we changed our room and a day later again there was bug. fridge is not working only light is there but it’s not making cold. there is no air conditioner.

Decent place to stay for travel

The location is great, within 10 minutes walking distance of two large subway/train stations. The staff is friendly and try their best to understand you if you don't speak French.

The room is not very clean, and the towels are a bit rough.

The rooms hasn't been cleaned. One of the rooms had to small double bed (140cm). We've only got one set od towels, although there were two persons in the room. The standard of the hotels is really low and i wouldn'r recommend it to others.

Poor

The hotel is in a partially pedestrian street with lots of stores (different boulangeries included) and restaurants, and it's in a 5 minute walk from Place Denfert Rochereau where the RER B and the Orlybus stop. There's free wifi for guests although the reception needs to hand you out a daily access code. Pricing is cheap for the location and the staff is welcoming.

The hotel feels in need for a renovation: in the common spaces there's moquette, there's no elevator, the room had the bathroom door and the wallpaper broken and there were some worms hanging out on the wall.
