Perfect accommodation for touring around Edinburgh.

Location is handy to sights all around Edinburgh - north and south. Washing machine and drying rack essential for a long stay in Scotland. Hosts are very helpful and responsive.

Great cozy house

Everything was great. The house was very clean. It has good internet and Netflix, which helped us spend 3 hours in the morning during the storm. The house is renovated, with an excellent bedroom and bathroom. We liked the bed and pillows! Great parking slot in 3 meters from the door! All facilities for cooking were available. The fridge is small but well enough for a 3-day stay! The location is brilliant! Extremely silent, but very close to the city, and easy to travel around Edinburgh! 25 minutes walking from a fantastic pizzeria. Hosts were available for my questions and left some food for us on arrival! It's worth all the money we paid!

It would be amazing to have a dishwasher! But that's expected, that it's hard to fit it in the small living room/kitchen. Sure, it was not a critical issue.

Perfect place to stay

We have never stayed anywhere so exceptionally clean, this place was sparkling! Tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom with a great shower. Location was great, very quiet. 15-20 min walk into Dunfermline and a 5 minute walk to the bus stop to get into Edinburgh, this place ticked every box. The weather was a little miserable so we couldn't make use of the patio area which was a shame.

The house was in a quiet neighbourhood. We could park in front off the door. It was well equiped. Very nice bathroom and it was very clean. The bed was also good. No bad things to say.

A little gem in Dunfermline

Pitcorthie House is a lovely one bedroom home in an ideal location (superstore and takeaways nearby). Primarily, we were visiting family but it is ideal for everything Edinburgh has to offer and more. Our grandson particularly liked the Scottish Deer Centre in nearby Cupar. The house is exceptionally clean and well appointed. We look forward to booking next time we're in Scotland.

horrible

minimal damage was done to the property during my stay, the owners then proceeded to falsify the report claiming doors were off hinges and table legs were broken i denied the damages and the owners proceeded to take a standing order of £100 from my account.

We really enjoyed our short break at Pitcorthie House, and we would be more than happy to return.

House was modern, clean, fresh and welcoming. The owners were friendly and made every effort to make sure we were satisfied and didnt have any problems.

There wasnt anything we didnt like. We had a car so it was easy to drive the 5mins minutes or so into Dunfermline, but it might have been more difficult had we been relying on public transport. Although in saying that we didnt look into what transport was available.

the property was very close to Edinburgh so was nice to visit there and also close to our main destination we came for. also very cosy and the interior was lovely and very clean. was very happy with our stay here and would recommend.

The property was clean and tidy,decorated to a good modern standard and looks just like it did in the photos, had everything we needed and more some lovely welcome gifts for us and bread milk etc which was a lovely touch. Would definitely book again. Also the bedding was very fresh and smelled great.

Nice, cosy home with nothing to miss. Even much more than we did expect. The owners are lovely people, who will help you with everything and you can get every information in the well-prepared folder in the house (trains, supermarkets, taxi...). We would love to come back!

Wonderful decor! The bathroom was exquisite (especially the waterfall shower head!) Bed and couch were incredibly comfortable! Whoever decorated has great taste! appreciated the Prosecco and chocolate!
