The property was near the center of latter Bruin

The lighting was weak, the towels were thin, it was a very steep walk into the town, and the pictures had made me believe we were getting the center of the chalet where we in fact we were in the basement

Lauterbrunnen is a stunning village Great location for Jungfraujoch Schilthorn Interlaken Accommodation has everything needed for a short stay Close to train station Host introduced himself & asked if we needed anything

This was a great place to be near the town but out of the tourist madness.

Great location—walkable to the town of Lauterbrunnen and train station which took us up to the Eiger, Grundelwald, and Interlaken.

Nothing. The place was great and roomy for us and our son—kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Beautiful view.

Simple place with fantastic views.

The view from everywhere was amazing. The host was very welcoming. The beds were very comfortable. Great location.

Great location, although the hill to the peoperty was pretty steep for carrying luggage. The only reason we didn't give it a 10 was that the seating area could have been more comfortable after a long day of hiking.

Appalling, but Lauterbrunnen was amazing.

No breakfast except for coffee .

The apartment was very old, in poor condition and was badly in need of renovation. It should not be rented out in this state and price was much higher than rest of Switzerland. Furniture and fittings were below average. Shower drain blocked. There were no food or drink products as is usual in other apartments.

Beautiful location and views, nicely off the main strip in a tourist town. Spacious, clean, and well-equipped with information brochures, kitchen equipment and some basic food items/coffee. An excellent value!

Heat was set low when we arrived (to be fair we didn’t ask for help and should have), and the apartment would benefit from a comfortable armchair and/or sofa. It’s not fancy, but we weren’t paying for fancy. Beware that it is something of a steep walk up from town with luggage; just take your time and pause to enjoy the area!

Three night stay at Apartment Chalet Im Gassli

It has a great view of the mountains and falls. The kitchen is well equipped with basic utensils such as plates,spoons,forks,glasses/ pots/pans/salt/pepper. It was a pleasant surprise to find a fondue set that we were able to use. The apartment is roomy. Perfect for a family or friends of 4-5 people.

We had a difficulty finding the place as it was situated all the way up to gassli st with a steep incline going up. Fortunately, a neighbor came out and we were able to ask where the house is by showing her the picture. The washing machine will only function with coins. Otherwise, you can do your laundry by handwashing. They have a big pail in the laundry room. You just have to bring soap for the wash. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Also, we weren’t able to see or get an answer from the contact person with our sent messages.

The property was ok, had most of the things we needed except that to wash our clothes we had to put coins in the machine which we weren’t aware.

The access to the property by the train station is not far but it is a very steep hill which was not mentioned by the property owner a family like us carrying suitcases would have a hard time to reach the property

Comfortable stay with beautiful views

We stayed for 5 nights. It was comfortably big and the kitchen was well equipped. There is also a new heater (with real fire!) that brings down the cold in the apartment. For info, the washing machine and dryer are coin operated. The view of the valley is really very beautiful and it’s a joy to sit outside and admire the surroundings. Just behind is a waterfall, and if you’re lucky like us, you may even spot some wild deer. Mr Reinhard, the owner, is very responsive and helpful.

There isn’t anything to really dislike. Just a note that the road up to the apartment is narrow and rather steep with curves. It is next to the restaurant called Flavours. One needs to drive very carefully, and it will not be easy to walk up if you have big heavy luggage. Also, the beds are a bit saggy, but we still had good comfortable sleep in them.

It was difficult to find the property as Gassli is a long winding street. It would be helpful to have more precise directions. Luckily we found someone who spoke English and knew where it was.

Super Appartment für unseren Aufenthalt zu zweit (2 Brüder) in dieser tollen Region.

Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Tolle ruhige Lage. Cooles Appartment für 2-3 Personen. Küche ist gut eingerichtet und hat alles was man braucht. Schnelles WLAN. Tolle Terrasse, im Sommer sicher eine Wucht. Für unseren Aufenthalt absolut perfekt gewesen. Schöner Esstisch mit guten Stühlen. Das appartment kann ich nur empfehlen.

Die Sitzgelegenheit im Wohnzimmer könnte etwas besser sein, wenn neben dem kleinen Sofa noch ein anderer Sessel vorhanden wäre. Die Matrazen eher weich für meinen Geschmack. Das ist aber Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Ein TV fehlt. Das konnten wir kompensieren, da wir einen eigenen Laptop dabei hatten und über das hauseigene WLAN (ist schnell) die Skirennen verfolgen konnten.
