More cookware could improve the kitchen.

Our stay was very “home-y”, the house gave us a feeling of being home away from home

The house was in excellent condition and the location was very accessible. The host (Juliet) was very responsive to our inquiries prior to, and during our stay. A big plus is the cheese fundue maker coz we were able to make our own.

Opening the lockbox is a bit of a struggle. But that is just a very minor issue.

A well equipped apartment on the edge of Grindlewald

Clean and well maintained property, lots of space for unpacking and a well equipped kitchen including and a dishwasher with washing machine in the bathroom. Plenty of tablets for the dishwasher and 3 for the washing machine so we were grateful not having to buy a huge pack of either half way through.

The bus stops right outside the appartment and although there is a small grocery shop in the nearby campsite you needed to go into Grindelwald but it is only 3 stops away. There was parking if you had a car though

Our special place

Everything. Our 2nd time staying here. The place feels familiar and homey. Kids love the books and games provided. The house is very warm and cosy. The kitchen is complete. The washer and dryer is superb. Kids love skiing at Murrën which the ski lift is just so nearby the areas (5m by bus).

A fantastic place to stay!

The property was far enough away but close enough for a short 10-15 minute walk to the centre of town. It was also very clean and had everything we needed, Thanks.

Exceptional

Appartment is located nearly at the edge of Lauterbrunnen, surrounded by other appartment houses in the calm area with wonderfull view on moutains and waterfalls. It is really easy to get to center of the town as well as to walking trails around valley. There is minigolf and tennis court 2 min walk from the house, also nice children playground and one of the biggest waterfalls in the valley not longer than 10 min walk from appartment. Appartment it self is so spacious, nicely furnished, clean and cosy. I was surprised by opportunity to use washing and drying mashine, also kitchen was equipped with many basic cooking ingrediences, so you do not need to buy 1/2 kilo of solt, suggar or liter of oil. For mother of 3 it is very nice touch :-) Communication about arriving and staying at the appartment was great, with quick reactions and detailed infos. Whole experience was so great that we prolonged our stay for another week, this time at another appartment from same owner, Family Frame appartment located in the building next door.

Superb

Huge living room with kitchen semi-opened. The balcony is big and has a view on the mountain. The explanation on how to access the apartment were very clear.

Couldn’t find the ski storage (but only skied for one day so we didn’t bother asking) and not 100% clean

The only problem with the apartment is that it is next to the road, and it does get noisy in the morning. Even with the windows closed...

Grand appartement agréable

L'emplacement proche d'un arrêt de bus pour partir skier. La surface de l'appartement agréable ainsi que son aménagement. Un intérieur agréable et bien décoré. Les toilettes séparés. La facilité d'échanger rapidement avec le propriétaire.

Nous n'avons pas réussi à ouvrir/trouver le local à skis.
