MUST MUST STAY if you are in Switzerland! Perfect for those who are looking to escape from city life. The place is a 25 minute walk from Wengen train station but the view was absolutely worth it! The balconies from all rooms have views of the Alps and parts of Lauterbrunnen valley. The rooms are very cosy and spacious. There were ample utensils, cutlery and even spices for cooking. There are lovely neighbours and you might even wake up to a view of alpaccas near by. There is a great farm fridge nearby from where you can get cheese, ice cream and fresh eggs. Our hosts, Sophie and Thomas were wonderful people. They had arranged every single thing for our stay to be perfect. They were always a text away for any doubts or questions we had. We are so incredibly grateful to have stayed here for 6 days in this beautiful place and would highly recommend Staubbachbankli to ANYONE visiting Switzerland. To know just how helpful they were do continue reading.... We were taking several trains from Paris into Switzerland and happened to miss one of the trains and were stuck in Basel at night. Sophie and Thomas kindly arranged a taxi from Basel to Lauterbrunnen and from Wengen to the chalet so we could reach the same night as planned.The chauffeur, Mr.Komina Muharem, was really nice and helpful. The only thing we were worried about was the walk to the Wengen train station everyday but the views were stunning during this walk and there are also few taxis available in Wengen itself. It is the most perfect place to stay so if you are hesitant, just go for it and I promise you it'll be worth it!

This was the most perfect place to stay. The only issue was that we had few large luggage and we had to carry them up to the second floor because that was the floor that we had booked. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

1. We liked the location. 2. The house is very clean. 3. The laundry room is good. 4. The kitchen needs more pans and saucepan. 5. We liked the faucets inside the rooms. 6. My children were comfort with beds.

1.the bathroom is separated from the toilet. 2. The garden was not safe for children. 3. Although the garden is big there was not a single toy for children. 4. We were upstairs but we felt there is someone downstairs and it was not comfortable at all.
