A fourth stay in our favorite spot was lovely as always - thank you!

Our fourth stay in this lovely little spot was just as enjoyable as the first three. It's in a perfectly secluded area which can be a bit tricky to find at first, but absolutely great when you get there. It's warm, comfortable and cozy. If you'd rather be in the "center of the action" it might not be for you but if you don't mind a little walk and prefer a real "home" experience it's wonderful.

It's a shame that they have changed the television service which now has no English language stations at all. In fact there were only 3 or 4 televised stations, the rest was radio access. It was always nice in the evenings to cozy up to some British game shows or films after long days of hiking and exploring. Obviously everyone is capable of providing their own entertainment and tv is the last priority, but it's not quite the same. Again, obviously not a game changer, just a little detail that we missed.

The location was perfect. I loved the view of the mountains and Staubbach Falls from window, it was constantly changing. The seclusion next to the river among the trees but still so close to shops and train station was perfect.

Need to update the pillows.

A bit like going to a vacation home where things are just a bit rustic.

The location was wonderful- away from the crowds in Lauterbrunnen proper, with an amazing view of the mountains.

There was no light over the stove, and no working stove ventilation, although the apartment instructions mentioned that the vent fan must be used.

Cozy, comfortable and our favorite place in Lauterbrunnen

We love everything about this happy little spot and have stayed here before. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful and the location is wonderful. It is tucked away and might be a little tricky to find at first, but once you do it is very easy to navigate to and from the center of town. It is a classic "cabin in the woods" kind of place with a wrap around deck and gorgeous view of the waterfall. The interior is cheery and comfortable and we can't imagine staying anywhere else when we're in Lauterbrunnen.

Location was superb, near to the train station close to the river and the view from the living room is exceptionall

Very small kitchen without dishwasher or washing machine, we stayed 6 nights so for us it was important. The property is quiet old there was a bit of a damp smell, but I guess it’s because a closeness to the river

Good location but nothing more

Central location within walking distance of cable cars and train station. The accommodation is as in the pictures, so no surprises there.

The owner/host would have to spend a few days clearing the lot. Trees and bushes are very tall and grow next to the balcony and hide the otherwise fine view of the valley. Lots of flies and ants that come into the house so you can't keep the balcony door open. And the TV remote control is still broken as it was June 2022 according to a previous review. On arrival, an hour before we had still not received information about key etc. after a phone call to the host, we got information about the key, then we didn't hear anything more from the host, not even before check-out. And then we had to find the tourist office ourselves to pay the local tax, which the hosts always take care of earlier.

Wake up everyday to an incredible view!

Location is excellent, 5-10 mins walk from train station, and very secluded view of the mountains, waterfall and stream, gives a very authentic swiss chalet experience. Hosts were easily accessible on Whatsapp. Listing mentions Sofa bed but to surprise, there are two twin beds in living room.

Few utensils need replacements, esp the mugs. Also, the patio could be cleaner but I understand its in woods so hard to maintain. Walking direction upfront will help travelers, Google map is not very clear.

Wonderful comfortable self catering apartment in heavenly location

Fantastic location, 5 - 7 min walk to the station taking shortcut foot bridge, comfortable beds, fabulous hot water. We loved Apartment Stocki and had the luxury of only the 2 of us in it. The kitchen is small but functional and the balcony has a terrific view along the valley. The sitting room was an amazing place to lay out a mat for some yoga and enjoy the view through the french doors! Wifi was fab. We were able to park our van in the allotted car parking space. We thoroughly recommend this lovely Apartment and really hope to return next year. We had 10 precious days of snowboarding in Wengen & Murren, and the added bonus of some cold water therapy in the beautiful river which is accessible from the Apartment. Big thank you to Luis & Janine for sharing this heavenly spot 🙏🤗

Comfortable stay in a great location.

Great location and a very comfortable stay. Close to the station and easy walk to gondolas and waterfalls The host was great. Beautiful views from the apartment.

Magical cabin in the woods

The location of the apartment is central to facilities and the train station in Lauterbrunnen. Authentic swiss chalet next to the river with a lovely veranda so a lovely place to sit and relax

It was good stay once you find the keys.

The location of the property was perfect and it's really close to the station although Google maps misguide you. You have to rely on the owner to get easily to the property and find the location of keys.

Address is not mentioned properly on the invoice and website and you have to rely on property manager to get to property and find the keys. Secondly lighting in the apartment needs to be improved. Thirdly it would be good if bath kit have been provided. Fourthly TV remote is pain, not able to operate the TV.

A hidden gem

The location of the apartment was great. We were visiting family who live in Lauterbrunnen so this was perfect. Very pretty location and nice size apartment with lots of character

Although there were instructions about the heating we struggled a little but I am sure if we had called the owner he would have helped straight away

Good stay for its location, but dislikes the trouble related to the refund of deposit.

The location is good with Staubbach Falls view from its balcony. An old piano in the house is something different from other property.

There is designated parking at CHF6 per day, but the parking lot requires great parking skill to park the car nicely. Do read the fine print on CHF300 as deposit upon check in, and it must be paid in CASH. This is an old practice, we eventually brought home extra Swiss Franc. Not convenient for those who want to check out early in the morning especially during weekend, as you have to wait for someone to be there at the house to check before the refund of deposit can be done. Given 2 mobile numbers of the key holder but he only uses one of them. Guests have to clear the garbage on own before checking out but no detailed location given as to where the public garbage collection is. Probably due to language barrier, the key holders at cafe seemed to be unfriendly with misunderstandings with us.

Key holder Peter was slack and inconvenient in communication. Didn’t reply to email or tell us the Base cafe would be closed on a Sunday.
