Very enjoyable with a characterful host.

The property was warm and located next to the bus stop which made travelling around the area very convenient. There was a well equipped kitchen including a dishwasher. Additionally there was a washing machine, which was very handy. The property is a traditional chalet with low ceilings and steep stairs up to the second bedroom. However, the view from the lounge is spectacular. There is also a spot to park your car. For those who do not wish to cater for themselves there are plenty of restaurants in the area.

Accepting that this is an old traditional building there is nothing not to like.

Great location, beautiful scenery and friendly hosts make this apartment a great place to stay,

Location was outstanding, Hosts were friendly and on site to ensure that our needs were met. Apartment was very clean with plenty of room and storage space.

Linens for beds needed to be updated. Railing leading to upstairs room needs to be made more secure. These are minor issues as our overall stay was excellent.

wonderful chalet in a perfect location in a lovely little village in heaven on earth

The location was excellent. The apartment was a very good size, and the views were amazing. Paul and Alice were also very helpful.

it would have been nice if some basic condiments had been included, such as salt and pepper, more toilet paper (only 2 rolls provided for a family of four for a week), and paper towels.

Enjoyable stay in a great location- love the swiss alps!

Very roomy apartment, very well located on Lauterbrunnen, with great view of the church and waterfall from the verandah and rooms. Quite well equipped, with private parking. Bed was comfortable, and having washing machine was a bonus

Pillows were flat and no alternatives- had to buy a pillow in Interlaken! Shower was a bit dark and old. Kitchen was a bit dated. Bit surprised with the requirement for 300 SF cash security deposit for the stay- left us with excess swiss cash which we had to then convert again to Euro for rest of the trip.

Spacious apartment in a good location.

The location was very good, just outside the village and very close to a bus stop. The apartment was older in terms of furnishings and fittings but everything worked well. People more than 180cm tall will struggle with low ceilings but the rest will do fine. There was a washing machine with detergent supplied and a good sized set of clothes lines under the eaves.

The ceilings were low and so the apartment was quite dark but really the apartment was fine. The stairs to the second bedroom were very steep. We didn't need to use the bedroom as we were only a couple but if you needed to use that bedroom you would need to be careful on the stairs.

Excellent location. Bus stop on the main road in front. Walking distance to town, the train station and to the start of various hiking trails. Neat, clean and functional. Pots, pans, cutlery, kitchenware, bathroom linen provided along with all the necessary appliances. Balcony with a nice view.

The stairs to go into the first floor bedroom were not particularly safe, with one having to be extra careful to use them. My son slipped on the wooden stairs and injured his back. Would recommend carpeting them. The WiFi connection was inconsistent and used to cut out from time to time. Some people might find the ding-dong of the church clock in front of the apartment sounding every hour a nuisance, especially if having to keep the windows in summer.

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable which was great considering we were a family of 4 (with two adult children). Location was very central to walk to anything we needed. The couple running the place was very pleasant.

Bel endroit typique, avec une vue incroyable!

Maison typique suisse avec vue sur la chute à Lauterbrunnen! WOW! Le mobilier et les installations ont de l’âme, mais tout était en parfaite condition et est bien entretenu. Les propriétaires sont disponibles et bienveillants Les lits sont très bien, mais les oreillers mériteraient d’être remplacés

Les plafonds bas ne nous ont pas dérangés mon conjoint et moi (nos grandeurs respectives: 5pi7 et 5pi4 / 78cm et 70cm)

Ein fantastischer Urlaub in der Jungfrauregion, bis auf die Unterkunft

Die Lage der Unterkunft am Rande von Lauterbrunnen, der Staubbachwasserfall direkt im Sichtfeld. Die Aussicht auf die Berge. Die Nähe zur Bushalthaltestelle und der Parkplatz für das Auto.

Keine Unterkunft für Personen über 185 cm, da die Decken des Hauses sehr niedrig sind. Eine Feststellung, keinesfalls eine Kritik. Die Einrichtung ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Ich mag Nostalgie, aber das zusammengewürfelte Geschirr, Töpfe und Teller, es war wirklich nichts schönes dabei. Die Küche selber und das Bad, höchste Zeit etwas SFR zu investieren. Das gleiche gilt für die ganz einfache Ausstattung der beiden Schlafräume, die Matratzen ziemlich dünn, die Überzüge der Kissen und Decken wirklich alt. Wir waren enttäuscht, nahmen es aber mit Humor. Dies mag auch mit dem Alter des Vermieters zusammen hängen, dem dies nicht bewusst ist. Wir würden nicht noch einmal diese Unterkunft wählen, aber besuchen diese Region sicherlich wieder .

Grosshorn is een ruim appartement voorzien van alle benodigde faciliteiten. Het ligt op een prachtige locatie. De gastheer onderneemt direct actie als er zich een probleem voordoet en is erg vriendelijk.

De inrichting van het appartement is wat gedateerd. Voor de huurprijs zou je een iets luxere uitstraling verwachten.

Gemütliche, großzügige Wohnung mit wundervollem Blick auf den Wasserfall

Besser kann es nicht sein: ein gemütliches,großzügiges Appartement in ruhiger und doch zentraler Lage im schönen Lauterbrunnen. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, die Betten sind bequem, in der Küche sind sogar Raclette und Fondue, falls man das plant, die Messer sind scharf, die Heizungen machen die Wohnung schön warm und on top hat man den perfekten Blick auf den Wasserfall, abends sogar illuminiert! Wenn uns draußen die Wanderwege und der Schnee nicht gelockt hätten, wären wir den ganzen Tag im Wohnzimmer geblieben und hätten auf die Wand und den Wasserfall geguckt........:-)) Paul ist ein sehr,sehr netter Gastgeber, er ist hilfsbereit und immer da, wenn man ihn braucht. Und ganz nebenbei ist der Preis für die Lage echt günstig. Wir haben unseren Jahreswechsel sehr genossen! (Und daß man besser unter 1,80m groß sein sollte, haben andere schon geschrieben, es stimmt, aber das Haus ist ja von 1769.....)
