Countryside Escape

This was the perfect cottage with enough room for our family of 5. We loved the layout of the large living room & big dining table plus had everything we needed in the kitchen. We throughly enjoyed taking walks along the public footpath behind the house & the short walks in town to fantastic pubs & a great market. The view of the sheep from the upstairs bedroom windows was the cherry on top🐑

Beautiful cottage, highly recommend

The property was comfortable, well located and easy to find. There was everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. Our ages ranged from 4 to 70 and we all found something in the property to meet our needs.

It seems pernickety to say but we would have liked a full length mirror somewhere. The couple who stayed in the nook said the sofa bed wasn't hugely comfortable but was ok for just a couple of nights

Loved the cottage but one or two simple things let it down.

Fantastic location for our family get together. Well appointed, comfortable with every home from home convenience

Sadly no stair gates provided yet they were written as being present on the inventory - not ideal when we had a very mobile 1 year old with no door to stop them getting to the stairs. Also, we found a child’s orange watch under one of the twin beds when trying to plug in the bedside light and 3 marbles - 2 found by my 1 year old granddaughter- in the lounge under the sofa. They were discovered as she tried to put one in her mouth which was obviously disappointing.

Amazing, had a brilliant stay and would like to come back again.

Great location to sightsee. Lovely clean, warm, modern house - welcome hamper left, pool table and dart board. Modern and homely.

More mirrors in the bedrooms. More accessible plug sockets in bedrooms Check out time is a little too early bearing in mind there was a lot to do… like strip the beds. Would be better check out at noon.

The property was really lovely, with every need catered for by the host. good descriptions of where everything is around the property.

we asked the host about the possibility of having a refund or changing the dates due to illness but the property was unable to help which was disappointing. so we had to rearrange the group that came along.
