Perfectly suited our requirements and even had Christmas decorations put up by our lovely hosts!

Breakfast - N/A. We chose the location to be walking distance from my wife's parents' new house, because having moved in very recently, they were still in a state of unpacking and not ready for a second bedroom to be used. The Nook therefore perfectly suited our requirements and we were made very welcome. Nicki even put up Christmas decorations which was very thoughtful. We would definitely consider staying again.

Don't stay at the Nook if you want to sleep

It's very clean.

I had a bad sleep the first night due to noise from the host who obviously lives above my room. & They kept me up ALL NIGHT the second night.I got no sleep at all. Stay at the Nook if your an insomniac. If you want to sleep...... Forget about it. Noisiest place I've ever stayed

A home away from home

Nicky and Ali are such warm, attentive hosts — they always make the effort to come over and say hello. The Nook has everything you could need for either a short or long stay, and I always sleep so well there. It feels really safe and secure, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Perfect cosy peaceful comfy wonderful little nook to stay in- love it!

I loved it- so very cosy and cute, but also has everything you could need for a short or longer stay! All sparkling clean. Comfiest of beds. Great location. Lovely people and very peaceful to sleep! And I loved the thoughtful touches throughout- from milk on arrival to little interesting things in the bathroom to look at! Thank you for a lovely stay.

It was clean throughout and has a warm welcoming feeling to it. Was surprised to see milk in the fridge and water, courtesy of the host.

Great place, clean and comfortable

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hosts have thought of everything. Would definitely book again.

The only small issue is that no smoking is allowed anywhere on the property, including outside. So we had to walk a little way to smoke when we wanted to.

Perfect stay in Barnstaple

A perfect stopover while cycling LEJOG. The apartment is cosy, spotless, and really well equipped with everything you need – kitchen, washing machine, great shower, and an amazingly comfortable bed. The hosts gave a warm, friendly welcome and there’s safe bike storage too. Couldn’t have asked for better.

Lovely well set out modern space with lots of thought put into the way it looked so very nice to be in. Great well equipped kitchen with table and comfy chairs. All you needed. Cycle storage provided.

Some blackout blinds to the lovely big windows would have been good. There is no view and it's in a suburban area. Not a big issue though if you plan to be out and about during the day

Fabulous stay

Amazing location 19 20 mins drive from lovely sandy beaches. A lot of supermarkets and shops in a 5.mins drive distance. The kitchen is spectacularly equipped, the studio is lovely and clean. The toilet is spacious with a great shower. The host looked super friendly and lovely. There is a binder with a lot of useful information about what to do and where to go.

The size of the bed for 2 ppl was a bit small

Brilliant stay - I’d stay again and again!

I had an absolutely brilliant stay at The Nook! I’ve stayed here quite a few times for work purposes and I’ve always had a wonderful stay. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely safe and at ease. Self check in was very easy. The place was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and had such a welcoming atmosphere. Not only did I feel secure throughout my stay, but I also had complete peace of mind knowing my belongings were safe as well. Nicki is a fantastic host—thoughtful, attentive, and clearly puts great care into ensuring guests have a comfortable experience. She comes down every single time I arrive to make sure I’m okay and for a little catch up ☺️ It was truly a pleasure staying here, and I would do it again! I would recommend The Nook for both short and longer stays

No privacy

It was clean and well equipped Host was very welcoming.

There was a door separating The Nook and main house and you could hear everything; hosts talking, moving about, floorboards, their TV. Host was lovely but we felt we had no privacy. We did end up leaving due to a family emergency but we didn't feel comfortable anyway.

Perfect!

Nicky and Ali are lovely and attentive hosts. The Nook is equipped with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. I’ve stayed here a few times and Nicky always goes out of her way to make sure I’m okay, I’ve settled in well, and they always leave little treats too!! Definitely somewhere I’d recommend to other guests and I would be back!

A wonderful little gem to stay in when visiting Devon

Over and above equipped home from home, special thoughtful touches. Very clean such a comfy bed and bedding. Hosts - couldn't fault them. Location, buses to everywhere nearby I went without a car. Perfect for couple or person alone to stay, Price fantastic..... would certainly stay again and spread the word about this little gem in Devon

Nicky was such a warm, welcoming and lovely host!! The Nook was so lovely; the facilities were amazing, a little home away from home. I slept wonderfully and loved the selection of DVD’s!! It’s so quiet in the night which was beautiful and it was the little things like the tea, biscuits and sleeping mask. I would definitely stay again!!

Great overnight stay catching up with old friends and excellent accommodation at The Nook.

Great unit for a single or couple.

A great unit. It’s small (which I knew before arrival) but has a very well equiped kitchen & the washing machine was a plus. Good bathroom & shower and a very comfortable bed. Excellent wifi. Host Nicky was lovely and very helpful, ensuring I had everything I needed.

The only thing I missed was a comfortable lounge type chair but having seen the photos prior to booking, I didn’t expect one.
