Warm and welcoming Dolls' House.

The location was in a caravan park, easy to find. There was a third bedroom, which we did not need, and 2 toilets, so would make it very handy for families with children. It was warm and welcoming on a freezing cold day, and sweetly decorated like a dolls' house.

The key locker at the entrance needs attention, maybe lubrication, as opening it needed 2 hands and some force, also the front steps gave way a little each time: maybe their fastenings/support need to be checked? The corridor and access to rooms and bathrooms was restricted and narrow, so not recommended for people with mobility problems or weight issues.

The owner would not provide a receipt for my stay as I need it for work purposes and tax purposes and after asking for a second time they have completely ignored any messages I have sent to them

Brilliant stay at the Tarka Holiday Park with glorious weather. We last came here 15 years ago and fancied a bit of nostalgia. The park is well situated for Barnstaple, Braunton, Saunton Sands and Croyde, but is very quiet and peaceful. We had a great caravan and the host was very helpful and everything ran smoothly...high recommend and will be back for sure!

This was a work trip so I did not need much, this park is very quiet and from what I could see does not have any other amenities on it other than accommodation. Location wise it was less than a mile from where I needed to be so no issues there.

It is on a busy road and there is no access controls.

Glad it was just one night

The location was perfect. Traveled from Blackpool and my check in date on my holiday park wasn’t until the next day so it was just somewhere to stay for the night.

Thier was a horrible musky smell around the property and the master bedroom smelt strongly of cigarettes. Thier was obvious signs of cigarette damage on the net curtains in the living space and discoloured ceilings. The steps going onto the property was wobbly, I felt unsafe using the steps in case they broke. The deco is extremely outdated. I can’t justify paying £95 for the night. Was not worth the money

Great, clean accommodation.

Code given by owner to access key, so doesn't matter if you are delayed. All the owners contact details are given by Booking.com in case there is a problem. Site is super quiet at night and the caravan is spotlessly clean. The surrounding area has some excellent beaches and beautiful countryside. 5 minutes from Barnstaple or Braunton for shops. Just to say though, this isn't a caravan site with a pool or clubhouse, you need to get out to those beaches and surrounding attractions, the caravan has all the information!

Pleasent place, close to everything

Very nice, clean, good facilities, very quiet and peaceful, extremely fast internet and easy instructions to follow to get inside the property.

The mattress in the master bedroom needs an upgrade as you can feel all the springs, the pillows are to soft as well.

Great stay on a loverly park.

Really liked that this place was ready to go straight into, and we were able to check in right away. We had been camping with the kids when the weather turned really bad, so I booked this to get us warm and dry again as parkdean had no van's available. Saved the holiday. The host was quick to respond to the booking. Which again was a big plus. Very quite park.

It has been mentioned before, I feel the information for the boiler and WiFi could be on a welcome card. The key code for the box to get the key was not very forth coming. I had to ask for it, I did feel maybe one of the naugbours or cctv was checked before the keycode was handed over to see if you were legit.

Very clean, quiet, ideal location

Location is great, close to Barnstaple and Braunton with the beach only a 15minute drive away. Caravan very clean. Wi-fi is provided and fast (look inside the glass cabinet!). Parking is fine, I have a 4x4 pickup and parked with no problem. Site is very quiet at night.

How spacious the place was. It had 3 bedrooms, one with a single bed, one with 2 children's beds and one with a double and en suite toilet. The living space was roomy too.

Great location for exploring North Devon. Nice quiet holiday park. Caravan was like a home from home, very comfortable. Will definitely return if we’re in the area. My son loved the elderberry bush at the rear of the caravan. Heanton Court, just 5 minutes drive, very inviting and reasonably priced for a meal. Also garden centre short drive for Devon Cream tea.

Excellent holiday, the chalet/ static home was in great condition. The TV was great and the facilities included were great. Had a very nice time and would stay here again.

The caravan was super clean, tidy and equipped with all fascilities. Our stay was fantastic. Nothing to worry about anything. Highly recommended.
