I had a very disappointing experience at this accommodation. As soon as I entered the room, it was in an extremely bad state — the floor was dirty, there were blankets and food on the floor, and the bathroom was filthy. It was obvious that the room had not been cleaned at all. I immediately reported the issue to Booking.com and left the property right away. I would not recommend this place to anyone based on my experience.

Really enjoyed our stay. Barnstaple and North Devon are lovely.

The location was great for the places we wanted to visit. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen and dinning areas were clean and had every thing we needed.

There was no dressing table or mirror in the room that my wife could use to do her hair.

Central location, easy to park five minutes walk away. Very clean, very comfortable. Good kitchen/ diner. Very quiet.

No room to get down one side of the bed. No key in key safe. Not your fault as presumably previous occupants forgot to leave it. Perhaps the cleaner should check and leave a duplicate in there.

Spacious, clean and modern. Very comfortable bed and easy access to the property! Great location for local town and parking options around.

Clean and comfy which is in a perfect location for exploring Barnstaple.

Parking was a bit of a pain to be honest and one of the other occupants regularly played music as he or she took a shower at 5:30am.

Ok for short stay

Close to town, so it made it convenient. It has a shared kitchen which is nice a clean so it is good if travelling for work or if you are on a budget.

Pillows really uncomfortable so I didn't sleep that well. Not their fault, but the seagulls are so loud. Also I wasn't forward the details on how to access my room.

No lift. No AC. Bad smells from drains and carpets had been tried to be hidden with nauseating synthetic air fresheners. Stupid solution for hotel access (shared key instead of reception). Far from train station.

Great value for money. The room was a very generous size, looked nice, good lighting, and clean.

It was a bit tricky using the key to enter the front door - it kept jamming. There was no shower gel in the bathroom, and the bathroom mirror wouldn’t stay up.

Great place to stay for a break in Barnstable - I loved it.

The room is one of five in a dwelling house in quiet side street. My room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the en-suite very accessible. Tea and coffee supplies were available in the shared kitchen. Each room had its own dedicated cupboard there, with cutlery and crockery. A comfortable shared lounge area was in the adjoining room. I did have a little trouble with the push-button security lock entry to my room on the last night, so I phoned Harun the landlord and he came out very promptly and attended to it. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely book it again.

Good central accommodation. Facilities throughout very good and well presented and of a classic standard. Only minor problem was the front door key and lock situation....difficult on a couple of occasions to get in. Would definitely stay again.

Comfy bed, nice shower, good location, clean kitchen

No mirror in main room and nowhere for women to make up/dry hair so wife had to take mirror off the bathroom wall and sit on the bedroom floor to do it all (understand space is at a premium). early check out.
