Great location and nice staff, but the hostel urgently needs renovation and proper cleaning.

Great location and very friendly staff at the reception. The overall atmosphere is pleasant, and the area around the hostel is convenient for walking and getting around the city.

The condition of the place gets worse every year. The rooms and bathrooms need proper cleaning and renovation. Two toilets were clogged, the shower drained very poorly, and water with an unpleasant sewage smell was standing on the floor. The ceiling has peeling paint, and some areas even look like mold. There was an unpleasant smell in the room as well — the ventilation works, but it’s clearly not enough, and the window cannot be opened. The beds squeak loudly, which is especially uncomfortable in a 12-bed dorm. Last year, strangers were able to enter our room due to an issue with the key cards. I have video recordings of these issues, but only photos can be uploaded here.

Decent to crash one night

The location is great, very close to the main party street. I crashed one night because of an early flight. Staff is extremely nice & considerate, they try to put girls together in the room even if you book mix dorm, so nice!! The bathrooms were clean which is important. You have free lockers but they are in the hallway which is a bit annoying.

You have to put your own sheets and the pillow and duvet have yellow stains so you just put cover on top of it but it gives you an ick. They should definitely buy new ones.

This is my second time here, and before I left good review, I blamed bad things to guests. So, overal, since it seemed as only hostel and cheapes option on booking, you have no other option, it is okay. Staff is kind. Location close to main parying area but still somehow quiet. Batrooms and showers are clean even though they are downstairs only. Upstairs you habe only toilets.

So, first time I was here two years ago it was okay but bed is too soft and room was hot without possibility to open window. (And I had roommste who was moving and speaking the whole night). Now again the similar experience... Room was with more beds, and beds are not stable! That's why they are squiking the whole time, even when you or others move just a bit. Bed mattress is much soft for me, it is hard to sleep well. There where almost no space to leave luggage and personal things next to bed. I couldn't find electricity plug close to me, just next to the door across the room... Quite inconvenient. Also, some kind of air conditioning was working loud, it was hot, you could not open windows. Since I left early in the morning, I saw also some others in the hall having hard time to sleep. You have lockers for personal things but they are in the hallway on a ground floor. Bathrooms as well. Check in time is a bit strange, and you cannot enter the hostel even to leave your luggage. So, overall, overpriced, but if there are any other options okay.

Not for summer,room was like crematorium

Good location and the people who worked there were helpful

I booked a room with 8 beds but they put me in one with 4 only and it was 2x2 size with no ventilation in August that it was boiling and the room smelled like chemicals the first night, but one of the employees gave me a fan when i complaint about the heat so we barely survived the first night,so i don't recommend during the summer

I think it's a little bit too bad even for a cheap hostel.

I booked a mixed 8 people dorm, but was put into a female 4 people dorm, which is a plus. Lockers are for free, which I liked as well.

The beds are not comfortable, the facilities are not that clean. It was hot, and there's no air conditioning, the air in the room was stiff. The common areas could be renovated.

Staff was amazing!

The bathroom ceiling is covered in mold, and the smell is horrible. The tiles need deep cleaning. There's no place to put your belongings, and the curtains are in really bad shape

One night stay before the flight

Simple hostel good for one night before the flight. Close to the center, clean and overall comfortable. Lockers are available in the corridor big enough for a small backpack. Decent showers with enough space to leave clothes and change.

The bed was 'squeaky', pillows uncomfortable, room was small and hot, the doors were extremely loud when closing. The music playing in the corridor was too loud and switched off very late. Showers/toilets are in the basement which makes them very hot and humid.

3BE is good and the cheapest option to stay. But nothing special

I was late and couldn't check in before midnight. I called reception and the staff was really polite and agreed to wait for me. And the location is amazing, very close to CS.

The night was horrible, mainly because of the roommates. They were snoring the whole night. Moreover, the bed and mattress were quite rattletrap.

- The staff was so helpful and so welcoming - The location o the hostel is just perfect. It's really in the heart of Eindhoven. - The bathrooms are so clean and spacious.

Everything about this place is great except that there is no emergency reception or procedure to enter the hostel in case of card lost/malfunctioning between midnight and 8 am. I had an early flight and I Had to checkout early at 4 am. I had to be quiet and quick to not disturb other residents sleeping. As planned, I put the card and the locker key in the mailbox before going out of the hostel. When I was outside, I remember hat I forgot my jacket. I tried to call the number listed in the door but no answer. I was knocking and no answer either so I was stuck and I had to head to the airport. Hopefully, Two residents were partying that night and they come back exactly at the time of my departure and they did open the main gate to me. After that I had to knock on the room also and hopefully someone did wake up and there I got my jacket. I understand that it's my responsibility to check everything before going out but it's so human to forget something and it happens all the time for everyone. I think it will be great to have an emergency procedure in those cases.

It was OK!

The bed was rather comfy. Quite a central location, just 15min walk from the Central Station. Got to sleep well, so overall positive experience.

The bathroom and showers were on a different floor, which was inconvenient. The check-in times are a bit limiting, as the hostel is closed 11am-2pm.
