Comfortable Stays - Shirley, Solihull

Well organised, well maintained and clean

Not much.

The house was perfectly located, only 10 min from the academy I was attending to and 4min walk from a shopping centre with all kinds of shops, super handy. The house was clean and had all the facilities in the kitchen as well. Tea and coffee available and the fridge to store drinks and food. In the room everything was very basic and a bit tiny but for the price it was excellent.

Only thing I didn’t like was the bedsheets. Despite having the little window open, I melted down during the night. The polyester sheets were horrible to sleep on and would make me sweat, so the second night I decided to sleep with the towel under or I would wake up sweating.

Easy to find and with good off road parking in a residential area.

The room was super clean. I have taken the one with private bathroom. Bed was comfortable, and staying in this house gives an excellent access to Shirley park and the nearby shops.

Cook is disconnected, making it difficult to do some light cooking or frying (although microwave, toaster, and kettle are working fine.

Needs a good spruce up, lots of cracks and chips, but good value for money. Needs a better checking in system. Otherwise clean, and relatively smart little room, good value, clean sheets - can't ask for much more tbf. Pretty happy all in 👍

It was perfect

The bedroom was clean and comfortable. Shower lovely and warm.

The was only blinds at the windows which let the light in very early. Also noisy other guests using the kitchen( right outside my bedroom) at 6.45am but this wasn’t the hotels fault.

Leaving the place

I was spoke to like a piece of filth, I was treated like a animal told I had been smoking and I don’t I would take a test to prove this… I was told I had the light on by the cooker as I was preparing my meal due to arriving after 6:30pm I did how ever ask I was told there was no gas and that I would be able to do this but use the microwave I called them to tell them I felt so unsafe due to the fact the back main door along the long very long alley was unlocked I ended up in tears explaining I was abused for 18 years and that is why I had called the little bold Indian man is a very nasty man the lady is a beautiful soul and the way he spoke to that women was a disgrace I have contacted customers services and requested that they obtain the cctv as I am not a liar I can quite easily screen shot all my apartment and hotel bookings I make per week and I never have any problems I think booking.com should this this place/property off the app. To the women you are amazing I’m sorry you was treated the way I was I wish you all the best ❤️ to the male I hope your god punishes your bad behaved ways and makes you realize your sins.. I how ever forgive you! I have no need to dwell what I won’t ever be is you and that’s all gods good ways.. god bless goodnight

Clean

Very Noisy. Until 2pm. Sounded like a restaurant was next door. Lots of talking. Very poor sleep. Room wasn’t ready. Weren’t expecting me !

Very nice room, well looked after, especially as it was part of a house felt very safe and secure there.

Everything was very clean and tidy. Host was next door for any issues. There was some frozen food in the fridge and tea/coffee for us. Parking also available which was great.

There were not any towels.

Data connection is not good inside the room. There’s free wifi though. Parking is only for 3 vehicles and the property is on a Main Street so not really ideal if looking for it for the first time you can delay traffic

decent room and there was a kitchen to use a bit. Nice bathroom. There was water bottles and soap.

was a bit cold over night as no heating or extra covers. when the heat did come on it was then very hot.
