It’s not often that I can say that there was everything I needed and more in a place, but this was one of those places. Great service from the management, from letting me check in early to driving to meet me and bring me an item that I’d inadvertently left behind later after I’d checked out, that day. The location is excellent, only 5 minutes walk from the Old Town Centre, and with bars, cafes, restaurants and shops all within a walk taking no more than a minute or two. Ground floor accommodation is particularly welcome when you reach a certain age and whilst I can and do schlepp up as many as three floors to get to some accommodation, it was good to walk in and be inside my place from the street level. And the shutter blinds give the privacy and security requirements that go with such a location. Can’t speak highly enough about it.

Well, you certainly get what you pay for, and pay for what you get. To be honest, it’s the only thing I found to be less than shiningly wonderful: it’s a bit on the expensive side. But once in, you forget that. Certainly not a rip-off!
