Table and chairs were uncomfortable.

Everything you require for comfortable stay with comfortable beds and nice bedding . Views amazing Struggled to get tv on No tv one night(possibly a weather issue)

Not being available until 5pm in winter and having to Leave by 9 and having to strip 4 beds isn’t a nice end to a great stay The steepness of hill is not good for elderly

The property was lovely and clean with everything we needed. The views from the dining area were fantastic!

The top floor bedrooms were dark and cold compared to the other rooms. But as the house backs right onto a hill this wasn’t really a surprise.

Location was fabulous, the view was fantastic from the dining area (It is at the top of a very steep hill if you're walking but definitely helped stretch the legs!) The wood burning stove was also great given the weather while we were visiting. Facilities like washer dryer were appreciated.

The property needs a lot of work, and cleaning wasn't good (Waiting for a response from Booking) There is black mold in the 2 back bedrooms where a poor attempt has been made to wipe it away. It is even on the valanced bed sheet which if we had noticed earlier in the week we probably would have arranged alternative accommodation as one of the people staying in that room is on immune suppressants. The twin room also has a gap in the window when closed letting in the cold air. We had snow while we were there so we had to crank the heating right up and stuff the gap to take the chill off. Carpets aren't fitted correctly and door bar spikes are exposed and easy to stand on. The grill heating element isn't secure and we didn't feel safe to use so everything we had purchased for cooked breakfast had to be fried. One of the outside lights leading up yo the house was also not working do it could be a little dark approaching the house. Downstairs bathroom had defective and mouldy plug (which we had to remove with a knife to drain) and shower, which also has a loose power button that pops off as you shower.
