the apartment was beautifully decorated, clean, well-equipped, overlooking awesome views from the terrace. The host was very responsive, thank you for all your recommendations

The location is not the best as we didn't have a car and is quite far from Como and transportation is a big issue there, there were no taxis that take you there and buses keep getting delayed and are crammed and upon arriving to the nearest point to the apartment, it's a 15 minute walk on a very steep road which was a struggle with our bags. The area is slightly isolated and not lively with just 1 supermarket in that area that is in walkable distance of around 15 minutes

Arriving and parking (quite steep hill through a gate) at the apartment after sunset for a first time required some extra attention and focus. But it was no problem after that/

Absolutely loved it!!!

Friendly host. Wonderful apartment. Spectacular view to wake up to. The apartment is big, Luxurious and spacious. Has everything that one needs and very well organized. The interiors are very tasteful and furnishing quality is excellent. Absolutely loved our stay here.

The path from the parking Lot to the adjacent road is quite steep downwards ( Perhaps not thought of carefully by the mason while constructing it ) and scratched the bottom of my car while taking it out. Host was gracious to provide other possibilities for parking the next day onwards.

Indeed for those that wanna enjoy both: Mountains and the lake

Very comfortable, spacious apartment - very well equipped and maintained. (Very) good reviews we have seen when booking the Appartement can be confirmed. In short: For us it was 10 out of 10 In a bit more detail: Professional, detailed instructions how to pick up keys even arriving past midnight. Huge pro - so you can avoid the usual traffic jam on weekends when arriving from the North via Gotthard and have not a tight schedule with a fixed check-in deadline. Exactly matching the needs for two couples who like to have a few days off in a location which has the “Via Regina” walkway right in front of its doorstep with a nice beautiful hamlet less than a km away. The view from the terrace (a few stairs up from the apartment level) is amazing. Restaurants, bakery and supermarket in Pianello del Lario are approx 100m in height below (10 min down the mountain, 15-20 min upwards). So if you are not expecting a flat territory this is no issue. As the territory around Lake Como is like in Norwegian fjords expect a quick steep drive a few upwards from the street to your actual parking lot - just similar as in many other alpine regions. Last, but not least: The hosts are very helpful and we do hope next time round at Lake Como we might be lucky enough to call this beautiful apartment our home away from home again.
