True Paradise in Como area

The location is spectacular. The views are second to none. The host is very friendly and very nice. The apartment is well equipped. We loved having the coffee on the sun bed with the most amazing view. The kids loved feeding the rabbits and looking at goats. We saw deers in the forest. The pool was too cold into use (May).

The road leading to the property can be quite nerve wracking!

Spectacular and calm place to stay!

It is amazing place! The view are fantastic, lack of words to describe the feeling of calmness and beauty up there. Appartment is very cozy, tidy, a lot of space, well equipted, beds very comfortable, we had very good rest there. Owner was very nice, we would love to come back and definitelly recommend for everyone who likes mountains.

I would make walls in a shower instead of curtains, it gets too wet, but it is just a minor minus regarding everything else.

Exceptional

A perfect way to relax atop a tremendous hill. The proprietor is very efficient, easy-going, sociable, and hard-working. The grounds are huge, the dogs are friendly and playful, and the house is lovely. I would stay here again without hesitation!

A slice of paradise that’s worth the drive up!

Truly a little piece of paradise. The drive up is not the best for big vehicles (or the faint hearted), but once you’re there you will be thoroughly rewarded. Not only is the view exceptional, everything about the stay was perfect. Apartment was big, clean and very comfortable for a family of five. The beds were comfortable and the child’s cot was a proper one rather than a travel cot, which makes a difference getting a good night sleep for the little one. Small thoughts (pasta and sauce waiting on arrival, fresh veggies offered from the garden, kids “helping” feed goats and chickens, etc) were also very nice touch. Due to the height in the mountains, the weather cools in the evening which gives a nice respite after a hot day at the lake. The host is super friendly while being very discreet around the property. Highly recommended!

This is not about the property but rather a warning about the directions to it - do NOT follow the location on Google maps from booking.com or you will end up taking the wrong mountain road which you don’t want to do (our damaged van can testify it’s not a fun “road”). You need to take the road which goes past Saliana, and follow the (occasional) signs for Piccolo Paradiso as you go up.

Prachtige plek, zeker aan te raden!

Prachtige locatie met adembenemend uitzicht. Hele vriendelijke mensen waar je altijd terecht kunt met vragen. Ruim en schoon appartement met alle faciliteiten. Grote buitenruimte met geiten, konijnen een hond en een kat. Leuk voor de kinderen! Er is een zwembad en speciaal speelhuisje voor kinderen waar allerlei speelgoed staat. Het is allemaal wel vrij stijl omdat het op een berg zit, dus kleine kinderen kunnen hier alleen onder toezicht spelen.

Het enige nadeel van het appartement was dat het vrij gehorig was. En de route er naartoe is prachtig, maar kan wel spannend zijn voor de onervaren rijder vanwege de smalle en stijle wegen.

Vista incredibile in struttura ristrutturata da pochissimo

Incredibile vista sul Lago di Como. Appartamento completamente ristrutturato, nuovissimo, razionale, con due letti a scomparsa “veri”, uno matrimoniale e uno a castello (niente tragici divano letto). Proprietario molto gentile che ci ha consigliato un’escursione nei dintorni, preparando un foglio con tutti i dettagli del percorso

Va tenuto ben presente che la struttura è ad almeno 20 minuti di auto dal paese più vicino, 20 minuti tutti su una strada stretta e piena di tornanti: arrivate con tutto il necessario per “sopravvivere” per il vostro soggiorno perché tutto è lontano e poco raggiungibile. L’appartamento era fornito di caffè e bustine di zucchero, ma non di una dotazione minima di olio e sale (per fortuna li avevamo portati). In bagno c’era un solo rotolo di carta igienica e pochissimo sapone/doccia shampoo
